One day the alarm display started to make a noise (beep sound),

I called Vivint and they asked me to do few steps and they fixed it in minuets.
I appreciate their fast response and customer care.

We had Vivint come to our door one night offering their full package system and a 10 day trial. So we had them install it and ensure we could cancel after 10 days if we didn't like it. We loved the system, but hated the contract terms. They were for 5 years, no cancellation options, at a very high monitoring fee but no up front costs except $100 for install. We decided that, as the monitoring times five years was a total of over $4200 that we felt it was too high and too large of a commitment. If we could have gone with 3 years we would have considered them.
It was a bit challenging to cancel and had to wait 3 weeks for guy to come uninstall (and would only do on a weekday). But we did get it out at the end of it all without too much hassle considering.
Great system and product, but very expensive. This company is out of Utah and not Canada, in case that matters.
Just wish they weren't double the cost of most companies and such a long term contract.

Impossible to cancel even after contract has run out. They did not alarm my sundeck or patio doors as they were supposed to.
I have called, emailed and written to cancel. Finally closed out the bank account. Now I get harassing calls on a daily basis and correspondence weekly.

I was totally distressed by Vivant. I had not had an alarm in over a year. Then one evening we were out to dinner and the alarm went off. I had forgot to cancel the motion detector inside and the dogs were inside. Vivant called my wife's cell but would not give her any details because she could not remember the passcode. They could not verify it was her who answered her phone. I sped home breaking speed limits and putting myself in danger to find a false alarm. They were really helpful. Then when asked what number they called to report it to the police they gave a number that was disconnected. They are not to be trusted. I am looking for another firm. They are not very helpful.

I have got a home security / Automation system from them and very satisfied about it and about their service, and their service cost is very reasonable and competitive among others.

Like the cost for the Alarm and Installation. The installation was ontime and cleaned up aftwards. The service has been great and many options to choose from. I really like the App available on the phone.

I love this new Alarm system we installed at home, especially the mobile application. I can open and close the door from my cel. I can active the alarm from my cell. I can get access to the camera from my cell. I love this technology, and of course to know that my home is protected is the most important.

I called a couple other companies and had some reasonable quotes on an alarm system. I called Vivint and was very happy with what was offered to me. I was looking for a high tech, friendly company who can install quickly. Joey came out of a Saturday and installed all of our state of the art equipment for $300.00. With the upfront money I saved, I was able to pay for one year monitoring. All of this cost less than the competitors upfront install and equipment cost. They were very friendly and took their time with the install, making sure I understood everything. It is true that the monitoring cost is more expensive and that is why they did not get 10 stars, but the two way communication and touch screen panel is what I really enjoy. I know the company went through some rebranding, but it worked. Awesome customer service, great system and an honest appraisal for what you need. I would recommend them any day. We just got our alarm and we paid $500 for what other companies quoted $9500.

We had our alarm installed within days of contacting Vivint. We have full home automation and it is wondering. We actually had a peaceful sleep knowing we are protected!

We installed Vivint as an extra piece of mind for our family. The install was quick, the installer, very clean, and they gave us all of our equipment for free, plus gave the friends we referred a "thank you". We have set off our alarm a couple of times by accident and they are very quick to respond which is very reassuring.
