From picking up the stones and timing of the whole process to installing, the service was outstanding! Communication between the company, installers and us was terrific and level of service was beyond expectations. Overall I would highly recommend this company as they went above and beyond and made our business together seamless and enjoyable!

We had a difficult project, as we are on a very steep lot. The installer, Andriy, did an amazing job adding Ontario Granite to three sides of our home.

Prior to the veneers, it was simply a stucco siding that had difficulty with the extreme weather conditions.

This stone work really made a big difference to the over-all appearance as well as the reinforcement of the structural integrity of the walls.

Working with the Project Co-Ordinator Karen was also a fun and learning experience.

We just had our basement corner fireplace finished with stone by Selex. The professionalism of this company from the first instore visit thru project coordinator to installer was the best I have ever experienced. All questions thru the process were address fully and timely. The whole process was only about 2 weeks. The installer they use is a true artisan and left our home probably cleaner then when he started.

We purchased thin bricks from Stone Selex for our new fireplace. Their sales/customer service were patient and helpful in making our choice decision. They quoted an installation price as well. We checked other installers and selected a contractor (Ram) who advertised on Kijiji as the price was cheaper. Ram arrived on time, set up and proceeded to brick the fireplace. After a few hours we noticed the bricks were not level and advised him. He explained it was the irregularity of the bricks. He continued and the crookedness got worse. We complained again and he responded with noticeable anger saying his wife and child were both sick
and he had to go. He would return the next day and fix everything. He asked to be paid 1/3 of the cost as we had agreed.
When he did not show up next day we text him. He did not reply until the evening stating he was sick and would return next morning. We told him we did not want him to come. We had to clean up the mess he left.
We contacted Karen at Stone Select and asked if they could finish the
job. She called us and told us they would be happy to do the work at
approx cost first quoted and supply additional bricks as needed as they
had to tear down the already installed bricks and start over.
Andriy from Stone Selex came, covered furniture and floors, explained
what he would do and quickly got to work. He used a laser level and
created a level masterpiece that looked amazing. He grouted the bricks,
cleaned up the fireplace, checked everything, cleaned up and was
finished by around 5:00PM. He did it all in one day.
We are so grateful that Stone Selex saved our fireplace. Karen used extra
effort in scheduling and pricing to mitigate the mess left by Ram the
sloppy inexperienced original contractor we first selected. Thank you Stone Selex. Much appreciated.

I dealt with Andrew (managing partner) and Ted (no title). Both were very professional and answered all of our questions. Ted also gave us advice regarding picking a mantel, applying Danish Oil to the mantel to get the effect we desired and even came out to our house to ensure that our existing structure would support the additional weight. The one other person we dealt with was Karen (no title) but was the obvious boss of the place. Nothing happened or moved without her signature. She was very efficient. The last person was Andriy who was the installer. Not only was he a good stone mason but also had an artistic flair in cutting and placing the stones. He also showed great respect for our property ensuring all was protected and covered and ensured the site was totally clean at the end of both days. From the time we agreed to proceed to date of finish was less than two weeks (installation was one & a half days only). Couldn't ask for better service.

Stone Selex "Karen P." was our project manager and she saw our work completely from start to finish. Communication was clear and cheerful, project corrections identified and immediately resolved. Date planning and execution was spot on. I don't think we could have asked for anything more. In regards to execution: Contractor "Andriy H." was a laser-focused machine. He did not waste time setting up, deploying foundation and the Stone Selex product, work the trim and caulk, while consistently and completely cleaning up after each work day. The results were fantastic. The work area encircled about three quarters of the house. A strong and robust-looking Selex product. Solid workmanship. Maybe there was luck on our side as the weather was stellar for early April, but I don't think otherwise would have changed the quality of the execution. Based on our experience with Stone Selex, I strongly recommend them.

Let me start off by saying, the craftsmanship was second to none. The installer was very careful as to not mess up our newly concreated walkway and driveway. Companies say things the customer wants to here, but in this case, they delivered what they promised. He was on time and very detailed orientated. The customer service was exceptional, transparent and forthcoming . Never did I feel it would be a hit and miss with the communication process. My wife and I are more than satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend them to all my neighbors, family and friends.
