Our IKEA kitchen had some modifications due to our demands (keep the butcher block counter on the island) and the realities of the old house. Having contractors for specific jobs means that the work is well done. Jimi is also very accommodating (as an outside contractor did the windows). Overall look is great and I hope to use his skills again.

I used Ideal Reno for a small job to repair a door.
He pointed out all of the problems that the previous meatball did when installing the door. The door opens, closes and locks properly now. The whole project took 4 hours to complete. I am going to have Jimi quote on a kitchen remodel and some painting in the coming months. Thanks again for helping me.

A friend recommended Jimi and Ideal Reno as the work he performed at her home was excellent. I contacted Jimi and we agreed on the work to be performed, price, and timing. I was unable to get the materials on time so Jimi offered to pick them up so the project could be completed as planned. We hired Jimi for our kitchen reno over a year ago and were (and continue to be) fully satisfied with his professionalism and workmanship. To start with, the kitchen design was not straightforward because of parts of the wall that were not completely flat. This made it essential to have custom cabinetry. Jimi was in close consultation with us on a daily basis and skillfully performed the cabinet modifications himself.

My wife and I are not tradespeople, and when there was a gap between translating the design into reality, Jimi consistently presenting us with several options and helped identify which was the best to choose, considering work cost, materials and time. It was clear that Jimi pays close attention to detail - his craftsmanship is precise and aesthetically pleasing.

The finished product is exceptional, and has stood the test of time very well.

Professionally, Jimi was the ideal contractor. He was always punctual, affable, honest and a truly good guy, as were his assistants. In the end, there were no significant extra costs for us. We were fortunate to have hired Jimi - it made the process as painless as possible.

Ideal Reno did a great job installing insulation, approximately 2000 square feet of plank vinyl flooring and baseboards in our basement after a major flood. Jimi, the owner, and Ming took great pride in their work. Our new vinyl floor is beautiful. Jimi recommended a higher profile baseboard than I had originally chosen. I trusted his expertise and was most pleased with the results. We appreciate their attention to detail and are enjoying our new space. We have had numerous renovations/addition over the years to our properties. I found Ideal Reno's price to be competitive. The work was completed efficiently and within their estimated timeline.
