I was very pleased with the work that was performed on my house on The Bridle Path. This involved removing old plywood fascia and soffits and replacing them with new custom Extira Board soffits, fascia and new eavestroughs. Shaun's staff were efficient, hard working and very courteous.

Shaun and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish. His crew were very polite to our neighbours and kept us informed every step of the way. We are in a semi detatched victorian Toronto home. Our exterior detached wall was stucco and crumbling. Shaun went out of his way to research and address fire code concerns we had about certain used materials. With very little room to work with, his team expertly took the stucco away and gave us fresh insulation and siding. We highly recommend using Home Doctor.

My house and garage were built in 1952. Solid brick. The wood door jams around the large garage door and the small entry doors at the front and back of the garage has layers of paint which has peeled off and been repainted multiple times. Looks horrible. I contacted Shaun at Home Doctor to have them covered up with aluminum panels/capped. A crew of 3 men arrived a few weeks later, did a fantastic job in 3 hours. The garage looks fresh and new. Extremely pleased with the work.

Having had the stucco on the lower part of my home painted by a so-called expert, and finding a year later the paint peeling off in sheets, I realised the solution was cladding.
I knew I had to find someone trustworthy, so turned to HomeStars who recommend the listed companies and also provide reviews.
I soon came across Home Doctor with 30 reviews, all of which were most favourable and indeed encouraging. Shaun, the owner and Principal immediately came over, showed me samples of the vinyl siding and also explained the process of applying over the stucco. He also advised me that siding is now installed over a backing with insulation. I was most impressed with Shaun as he was businesslike but also extremely patient and helpful, and there was no sales pressure whatsoever. So I took a leap of faith and decided that as well as the stucco being clad, the 50 year old siding on the top part of the house should be replaced together with new soffit, fascia, guttering and downspouts.
Shaun provided me with a fully detailed quotation, plus three references from homes right in my area, so I agreed work should commence.

The work crew, Mirsad, Chris, Adam and Todd arrived on time each day and worked well together. Everyone knew what their particular job was and got on with it. They were extremely polite but also friendly and cheerfully answered any of my questions. The foreman, Mirsad seemed to want to go out of his way to make sure I was happy and indeed added a couple of embellished extras! Any small query I had was dealt with immediately and Shaun was in touch or available the whole time. During and at the end of the project, everything was cleared up and removed to my complete satisfaction.

All the guys worked well together but I believe the driving force is Shaun who obviously cares for his workers as well as his clients. There seems to be a deep respect which obviously makes for a healthy company leading to good workmanship and pride in their work. I found it obvious that Shaun's business ethics are that the customer is important and deserves to be treated as such, rather than just an end to making money.
My home now looks awesome, is maintenance free with the added bonus of insulation for the Winter months.

My house is a backsplit with uninsulated aluminium siding. The siding was over 30 years old and looking tired, and in the winter it was a good 5 degrees colder in the back of the house where the siding is rather than the front. So I decided it was time for a replacement.

From the moment I met Shaun I knew I had found the right contractor and needed to look no further. He made an excellent suggestion to match up the front of the house with siding (formerly a wooden façade) so it would match the back with existing brick in between. I have consistently had problems with eavestrough drainage and wasted good money on contractors who did not know what they were doing. It was clear from the first conversation Shaun did and he made excellent suggestions.

From the moment Shaun’s team of Adam and Chris started work I knew I had found the perfect dream of a contractor. The standard of workmanship was the highest level. Their attention to details was as if this was their own house they were working on, perhaps even higher! They worked quickly without compromising quality and always kept the work site as clean and tidy as possible. My house is almost 100 years old and has a lot of ‘fiddly bits’ - they coped with these in the most ingenious, top notch ways. Adam and Chris are genuinely lovely guys who were only too happy to go that little extra mile that means so much. I really missed not having them around when they were finished!

In short, I would not hesitate to recommend Home Doctor to anyone needing siding, eavestrough and soffit work done. Shaun is a great guy and his team are top quality. By the time they finished I really did feel like hugging them all and shedding a tear like those people who get reno makeovers on HGTV. My house looks like a million bucks now (literally) and as I am on a corner lot I have had all of my neighbours and many people walking by commenting on how wonderful it looks.

The exterior of our home was in need of a facelift and update. We chose Home Doctor to do the work. We had new siding with insulation all around, new eaves troughs, downspouts, fascia, soffits, window and beam capping. Shaun proved himself to be a top-notch professional. Shaun and his team did an excellent job. His team, were hard working and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend this company. We were very satisfied with their work. His crew also cleaned up to our satisfaction.

My Husband and I have made several disappointing choices over the years when hiring contractors to do work on our home.
