Weed Man Clarkson

I wanted their service for my lawn. Their service is just terrible. I was told that they would do 3 visits to check on my lawn but it was never done...and all the questions are not satisfactorily answered. Poor quality service..I will never recommend this company to anyone I know.

the service did very little to nothing for the lawn . When we called them to question the service all they did was try and upsell us more services. They did not try and take care of the services we paid for that did nothing. After the entire summer , little was done. In fact it almost seemed like the lawn was worse than the previous year. My suggestion is another company that is not out to just run your credit card ... not happy and would never allow them to even try and make up for this issue .

They are on time and are careful around the trampoline with their machinery. A couple of times I had to call them back to clea up the clippings but they did so fast and without hesitation.

We were not getting the best results with our lawn, maintaining it on our own. There continued to be brown spots or areas not as full as others. Nick from the Weed Man franchise in Mississauga contacted us, as he cared for the lawn here with the previous owners and had called us once a year for a few years since we bought the house. We kept telling him we were going to try it on our own, but feel free to check back next year and see if we've changed our minds. He offered to come do a free, no-obligation assessment of our lawn, share his results and leave it up to us if we chose to engage with them or not.

Nick arrived punctually when he said he would, spent about 30 minutes examining the lawn (lifting up sections under brown spots, etc.) and left us a detailed, written lawn analysis with what he believed needed to be done, times the services should be performed and pricing.

After considering it for about a week (and pricing out the cost of renting or buying equipment and supplies and doing it on our own), we decided to engage with Nick and the Weed Man.

This first year, a lot was done: fertilizing, weed control, core aeration, overseeding, top dressing, etc.). By the summer, the lawn looked the best it had in the few years since we bought the house. The few years afterwards, it continued to look beautiful and far less was needed (i.e. aeration only every 3 years).

I have frequently asked about other things (i.e. insect control) where Nick would inspect the lawn and tell me it wasn't needed, rather than just sell me whatever he could get me to buy. I have come to trust his advice.

The only reason I did not give them a 10, is once when they overseeded, they were a bit sloppy and let seeds go between the stones in my interlock walkway and into the edges of my garden. This was a pain to stop the grass from growing in. This was only one time, but enough to make me rate the satisfied bucket a 4 instead of a 5.

I have heard and read a lot of negative things about other Weed Man businesses, but I have to stress, these are franchises and each owned and operated differently. My experience only applies to the Weed Man in Mississauga at the phone number above and located on Royal Windsor Drive in Mississauga. If you engage with them, I would recommend working directly with Nick.

These guys cut my lawn regularly... Very professional, courteous, and kind. I use them for all my lawn services (fertilization, weed control and my flower beds) they always come when the say they will and do a marvelous job.

We have used Weed Man for many years and have never had a complaint. They really seem to care about their customers. Treatments are carried out on time and with advance notice, and feedback is excellent. They suggest services but are never pushy. Randomly they drop by to ensure the lawn is doing well. Even though we use just the basic program with occasional additional treatments such as aeration, the lawn is always lush and green. Overall, a first-rate company!

I was pleased to see that the Weed Man team promptly arrival at our home when expected. Though the job was done quickly, it was a thorough fertilization and weed control. We have used them for a few years and every year out lawn looks great for a fair price!

Offered a promotion for a treatment but had declined to take the service. Shortly after the tradesman on the property applying the fertilizer which I did not request. Had to go back and forth between sales person and the tradesman to get this recified.

Job was done at appropriate time, the gentlemen was very helpful in providing tips on reducing weed pop up, cutting grass height and watering. would recommend this company, however, only issue i have is that they have been calling numerous times re: offers in which i did not want and have asked them repeatedly not to call back and that i have their business number for future reference.

We used Weed Man for many years before switching to our current company. Initially, Weed Man did a good job at keeping the lawn weed and grub free. After a few years, however, the lawn did not look well. We tried many of the suggestions but eventually we determined that we had to switch. It seemed to us that Weed Man was good if you want only weed control but if you are looking for more attention and information, this may not be the company for you.
