Our roof was replaced by this company's contractors through insurance. Shortly after this work, we started to notice tiny water marks on our garage ceiling drywall, but initially we were not sure if water marks were from the time before roof was replaced or it happened afterwards. It took us a while to figure out that it was an ongoing issue because we would only notice it when in the garage and when it had either rained or snowed. Last winter, we noticed that drywall was completely soaked with water. I called Findlay and they sent a consultant to investigate. The consultant was not able to figure out where water was leaking from and he sent a roofer to inspect the issue. Unfortunately, the roofer was not able to figure out the issue either and left after applying some caulking. Then there was period of complete silence and no feedback was provided to us by Findlay. Once I reached out to them, they said that their roofer had ruled out any workmanship related issues with the roof so they was unable to help us further.
We decided to remove the damaged part of ceiling ourselves and the issue was quite evident. There were visible gaps in the roof (as seen in one of the attached pictures) and we could see the daylight from inside the garage and noticed that some of the nails on flashing were also missing, even though shingles were intact. There was also visible mold on the ceiling wood planks. This part of roof had no issues before replacement and it only started to occur after their contractors had replaced it. Its a glaring example of sheer incompetency and a company not backing up their own work. Now I've to pay someone else to fix the issue created by their roofers.
I would absolutely not recommend their services to anyone because in case of an issue you will be on your own. Good luck!
