Sam explained what was wrong with my fireplace, fixed it and did a thorogh cleaning very efficiently. He took the time to show me how to operate it and advised on ongoing maintenance. A $200 service call sure beats a full $4000 replacement of the fireplace, which is what others suggested I would need.

We recently had Toronto Comfort Zone replace our gas fireplace. Sonny and Reza are first class all the way. We really valued the time Sonny spent with us and his practical approach on our options, recommendation and path to get the job done. Reza and his team were incredibly experienced helping us navigate through the installation of our unique situation. For anyone looking to get a gas fireplace or help with an existing one, I can't recommend Toronto Comfort Zone highly enough. The pilot light would not light on my old gas fireplace. Sam, the technician, came over promptly, immediately identified and fixed the problem. He gave it a good cleaning/servicing and poof, it was good to go! Very friendly and professional, highly recommended!

Sonny was very helpful with providing all the necessary information to research my options and was very helpful in terms of assisting me with the measurements for the overall fireplace configuration, and midway when I felt the plan needed tweaking, again he was helpful in suggesting options and adjustments. Throughout the whole precise Sonny was very patient and I never felt any pressure during initial consultations or when I adjusted the plan. The installation team was professional and the installation went smoothly and quickly.

From the beginning, Toronto Comfort Zone laid out a clear plan on the steps we'd need to take in order to renovate our almost century old non-operational fireplace. We were able to convert the existing box (with some demo) to fit a gas option in and provided them with multiple reference photos on what we were hoping to achieve with the surround and built-ins. After picking out the gas unit, we were offered a couple of tile retailers to select the herringbone surround. Great options and super happy with the way it turned out. The mantel was also sourced from a recommended place and they were both efficient and affordable. After the fireplace and surround were in place, the space was measured for left and right built-ins. Understanding up front that this journey from beginning to end had many moving parts, old house abnormalities, small delays etc the results are stunning. Highly recommend Sonny and his team of magical Maestros!!!
