I used Tras to repair my wine fridge. They charge for diagnosis even when you use them for the repair (most companies waive the diagnosis fee if you hire them for the repair). For the repair appointment, I took time off of work and sat waiting for two hours, only to finally be told that the technician had not appeared for work that day. He came three days later, 45 minutes after the time he said he would arrive. He fixed the fridge but burned my kitchen rug in the process. I ordered a new rug and told the company I would be deducting the cost from the bill. Some guy at the company claimed they had, "analyzed the rug and determined its value to be $20"...a simple google search would have shown them that the rug was $93 plus tax.
Not only would I not recommend this company, I would highly suggest never calling them.

This customer has left out all the pertinent information and is very vindictive and unreasonable because they do not want to pay the full amount of the completed service.
This customer accepted a Saturday premium service at no extra cost because service time frames that was originally set was not realistic in the service industry, the service industry always sets a 2-4hr window or the whole day, this customer wanted someone there at exactly 9:00 am. In consideration of this customer requested we offered a Saturday service which balanced and compensated for the 2 hour that was taken off work previously. The Saturday service prevented this customer from taking any more time off as if the work was done the date previously requested. The customer is calling a floor mat a rug. it's not a Rug its a 36" x 24" inches mat that is used to stand on in front of kitchen sink while washing dishes. The price for this mat is actually 15-20 dollars at Costco, Walmart and google . This customer gave our technician permission to use this mat to kneel on, that was already burnt, damage and in bad state, she insisted on him using this terrible rug as a precaution. Our technician offered $100.00 off the repair bill anyways for a $20.00 floor mat just to prevent any dissatisfaction. Our company never did charge this customer a diagnostic fee, she is absolutely lying. we have proof that she signed. She was charge for parts, Service Call and Seal system labour less $100.00 for the floor mat. what a scammer and vindictive person trying to walk away from paying her bill. We had to call this customer numerous time before she responded and when she did was very obnoxious and discourteous trying to bully her way out of paying for repairs done.
