We had mold in the basement and Benny with his crew did a fantastic job removing it. When the mold test came back positive after the first treatment and we had to do an expensive test again which was totally unplanned he was willing to absorb the cost of the additional test. They came back to do additional work to make sure that mold was 100% removed. The basement is mold free now. They are very pleasant and professional people to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to treat their house or office for mold removal.

We had flood in our dining room while out of town. Our Plumber called Benny and within 30 minutes he arrived with crew and fans. They packed up everything from my living and dining rooms and set the fans to dry up the water. I spoke with them from Florida and arranged further entrance for them. Benny made this so easy for us. The rooms had to be completely redone from ceiling to floor. We came home for a two week period and upon our instructions Benny did not start the work until we left again. It was completed efficiently and very well in the time he specified and when we returned home we were really pleased with the result. We would highly recommend them.

We own a child care centre and we walked in one Monday morning to find our children's washroom flooding and water entered into our infant room along with our hallway. We were horrified because we were expecting families to drop off their children within the hour. We called Benny and he showed up within a half hour and immediately told us we would have to remove our flooring. Benny and his team began working on the spot and ended up removing our entire basement flooring and some of our drywall due to water damage. The insurance adjuster quoted this job to be completed in 3 months. Benny and his team saw that we had a centre to run and there were many families out of care because of this disaster. The Restoration crew worked all day and night and was there every step of the way. What was quoted as a 3 month job, we had completed in 6 days. We wouldn't have been able to do it if Benny and his team didn't work as quickly and efficiently as they did. We cannot express in words how thankful we are for this restoration crew. They worked around the clock so we could get our families back in care. Thank you Benny and crew, we thank you whole heartedly! It was a pleasure working with you all.

We discovered mold in a room in our basement - I Called Restoration 1 and Benny came in under 2 hours to investigate.

It turned out that we had some kind of water damage in our basement and there was mold behind the drywall all around the room.

Benny Scheduled us in for mold removal a couple of days later.
He and his crews worked for half a day cutting out drywall, spraying special spray to disinfect the areas and setting up machinery to clean out the air in the room.

They put A plastic seal around the door of the room and closed all the vents to make sure that no contaminated air was released into the house throughout the process.

After the machines were removed Benny went beyond the scope of what i hired him for to help me figure out what caused the mold in the first place.

I have only good things to say about my experience with Benny and Restoration 1.

I recommend them to anyone who finds water damage in their home.

I have never posted on here, but often look at reviews on here. However, I felt I had to post this review .

We had some trouble that we needed help with, and we looked on homestars to find someone. Restoration 1 Vaughn ranked high, so we decided to give them (and a few other highly ranked people a call). While we had to leave a message for the others (on a Sunday), Benny picked up the phone right away, and assured us he would be in our house in 20 mins. He was there in 19 mins! From the start, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. In a highly stressed situation, he made us feel at ease and his demeanor was actually calming to us.

He did a great job in fixing our problem, right through to the end of the job. That was a year ago. I had refrained from posting a review on here to actually see if there would be any issues once the job was completed, and more importantly, if there were issues, how they would be handled, and if he would hold true to his 1 year warranty.

We did have a slight issue with a portion of the fix that one of his contractors did. This was the true test to see if Benny from Restoration 1 would still be the nice guy that he was when he first got the job. We were very pleased to see that he infact did hold true to his warranty, and had his contractor come out and touch up the small deficiency that had occurred through the year. Benny is a stand up guy with great ethics. He is very calm and collected in a stressful situation, and will be a great help if you need his services.

Benny was very flexible and responsive. Came out and started the job on the same day. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I'd would use him again and recommend him to everyone.

Benny was referred to us by the plumber who initially assessed our problem. He came to our house within a half hour, immediately took stock of the situation and provided guidance re how to report the incident to our insurance company. Once we received approval from the insurance company to begin repairs, Benny's team immediately began work to professionally and effectively remedy the situation. Basement drywall and framing experienced water damage. Benny and his team at restoration 1 were clean and quick setting up containment barrier and cleaning up after the job was done.

All damaged material was taken and job site left clean and ready for rebuild.

The valve from the toilet in upstairs bathroom broke and water leaked through the baseboards, the bedroom next door which soaked through the carpet and downstairs over our living room ceiling and onto our hardwood floors. The team at Restoration 1 were quick and speedy when we called. Our ceiling was replastered and looks good as new. Benny is very fair and helpful. We highly recommend this company.
