Floor was damaged by there installers, Thn covered in holes and wood filler.,had gaps everywhere, and shoe molding didn't match. They came At 2 and left at three the first day ,They puged in my husband's saw and left it on ihalf way still plugged in he picked it up and it cut his leg to the bone. The first to men we threw out of our house it was done so bad. They sent two new guys who had to rip it out and start again. Only it still looks awful. So now we have to take them to court. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FLOOR HERE.You get what you pay for

This is the experience from Hamilton Location. I assume its going to be the same experience everywhere.

The experience starts from the sleazy salesman. Reminds you of the greedy salespeople you saw in the movies from the 70's. They will not tell you anything unless you ask for it. So unless you are an expert do not buy from them. Even if you are an expert DONT USE THEM as they have lots of tricks to fool you.

Whatever the price they advertise on their floor, the actual price will be 200% - 300% higher. Expect to pay around $8 - $15 per Sqft regardless of the discounts they say they will give.
They said they will refund the any excess material not used. They made sure that they use it so as to not to give any refunds.

The contractors they hire are not licensed and do not do a proper job. They will not clean their mess, will not put back the closet doors. But they will make sure that they break the existing furniture so that you are forced to buy stuff from them to get more money.

I purchased the Maple Harwood from Oakville location where I was dealing with Rose, an amazing person which gave me the best price. Installation guys did a great job, 4 bedrooms and hallway (aprox 1000sqft) in 2 days. I was impressed that they cut the hardwood outside so I had no dust in my house. Everything looks amazing! I would recommend this company to everyone!

Let's just say we didn't get what we paid for, he gave us totally different product, when we try returning it, he took almost half the money as restocking fee, views on their website are paid for and bogus don't fall for it. I am talking about the store (Hardwood Design Centre) in Hamilton On upper Ottawa street. Oh, if you still wanna go for it, make sure don't pay a single penny in advance..

The service was excellent and Balu, the sales representative gave me a very affordable price on the product. So I recommend anyone to go and have a visit to the store. It's worth the price. Thanks a lot.

They don't deliver the same product they show you. They take a large deposit so you have no choice but to keep their product or loose your deposit. Pls don't deal with this company. They have many complaints against them with the bad business bureau. I wish I had done my research.

Hardwood Giant is by far the best prices for flooring and baseboard retailer in the area. When I compared the price at other flooring retailers and we saved $200. I would recommend Hardwood Giant and AJ to anyone. AJ provided friendly service and is very customer centric.

Azhar Jamal was the sales rep and he was excellent. Always updated me on my delivery and the hardwood quality was second to none. I will go back again for my basement hardwood flooring. Really satisfying.

My Floor looks awesome! Great customer service at the store (I dealt with A.J.). Contractors were great as well. Looked around for prices and they were the best we could find - including installation. I have an old home and during the installation, we realized that the floors were very warped and over time the tiles would develop a 'bounce' or pop out. They stopped the installation at no extra cost so I could take care of the lumpy floor before the tiles were installed.

We purchased our hardwood from the Hardwood Design Centre in Burlington (Fairview St.) These are the absolute WORST people to deal with. Customer service is non-existent! We arranged for a pickup time - they did not show up. Called the next day, and they said they would call me back - they never did. tried to get my money back - they refused. I had a shouting match in the middle of the store it was so frustrating. After weeks of this, I finally got the material. I made sure I had it all, as I vowed that I would never go back. I told the sales person that I would tell as many people I could to avoid this retailer. He threatened me! "...you will be in big trouble!" No exaggeration. I am stunned that they are still in business. Please, ...avoid this place at all costs. The flooring prices are not all that much better.
