This is the terrible experienced we’ve had with Smart Home Works. On March 8th, we got a visit from a very nice and professional technician named Garett. Garrett was the only professional we had contact with. We agreed to install and rent a brand new air-conditioned equipment from Smart Home Works for our house. Some days after we signed the agreement two unidentified people in an unidentified van knocked my door. They did not speak English and I could understand they came from SHW for the installation of the new equipment. I called SHW to verify the identity of the technicians, because they did not have any credential (not even driver’s license). Finally, by the phone the confirmed the identity and I let them in. They installed the equipment but is was still winter so we did not use it until June. Since June until now, we’ve called SHW for technical assistance four (4) times. It has been four times in seven weeks. The equipment gets frozen, and the procedure is that we have to turn the equipment off for 24 hours (I have four children, including a 3-year-old girl, so you can imagine the discomfort) and a technician comes (technicians similar to the installers), sees that everything is fine, we turn the A/V on again, it takes 24 hours to cool down the house again and soon after, the equipment gets frozen again. Every time, for four interruptions, we have +3 days without A/A. It happened again, a technician came on Wednesday at 8pm (we did not have A/C from Monday night), and again, it is frozen. In summary, SHW is very professional and diligent when they sell you the deal and you get a 5-star attention, afterwards, a disaster. What can I do in order to have an expert that solve this problem permanently? What do I deserve? I want an answer. I called two hours ago, I no representative got my call, I had to leave a message...
