Our recent project involved building a 5 story contemporary house with 2 basement levels below grade; all exposed. Giving the close proximity to the neighbours on either side of the property, this was very challenging. We interviewed 6 contractors to complete this task. They all declined the job or didn't follow up with us.
To cut to the chase, Zetta construction had a clear understanding of the scopes and dared to go where other contractors feared. Despite enormous challenges, Zetta got the job DONE!!
Victor's crew have a wealth of experience..they were very respectful and diligent in their service. We have recommended him to our clients and ready to vouch for his work.
No doubt, we would be using Victor for our future projects.

Zetta completed the underpinning under the addition on my home. The existing main floor had a 325 sq ft addition added to it with a 3 foot crawl space. The existing basement has 7'6 ceilings and we were looking to add light and head room- 1 eight inch step. I began my online research and found 4 companies that would do work in Whitby. Zetta fortunately had several great reviews on Homestars which gave me some piece of mind. I contacted all 4 companies and had them all out to review the work. Each company had ideas for the project. The major difference with Victor was he listened to the fact I didn't want to lose space due to benching and that I wanted one company to own the project. Some others would do underpinning leaving water proofing, beams, and window wells for to me to complete with other contractors. I received all prices and Zeta was very competitive with an inclusive solution. I then checked 3 references to ensure I was making the right decision. Zetta 's crew was knowledgeable and polite, Raf and Brendan had to underpin from the outside and then jack hammer the existing slab and soil to dig out 5 feet of materials. This was no small task via conveyor. They even managed several laughs along the way- ask Raf about his Brazilian buddies...Throughout the project Raf and Victor kept me updated on progress, they kept the site clean, executed the project finishing on schedule and within the planned budget. The Zetta crew clearly take pride in what they do showing me every step of the way (I work from home). They made sure I was happy with the progress and work completed. I would highly recommend Zetta for your underpinning project and am open to anyone contacting me. I would add, it is worth understanding the entire scope of the project to ensure you have budgeted for all aspects. Zetta can help you with that or at least point you in the right direction.

I used Zetta Construction for some demolition and excavation work on my houses. I simply found them online, but they did a pretty good job. They were professional and everything was as I expected it to be. Of course I would use them again and recommend them to a friend as well.

To be honest I wasn’t very happy with Zetta Construction. They did too much excavation in some areas and then not enough in others, so I had to go back and repair their mistakes. It cost me a lot of money and they didn’t seem to have very much experience.

Zetta Construction did some demolition and excavation work for us. They very good and professional. I should mention that Victor and Mark actually went out of their way to help us move a steel beam. It wasn’t even part of their job but they were willing to help regardless. So I found them very accommodating and I would gladly use them again.

I used Zetta Construction to have a couple large bins taken away. The larger bin with clay cost a flat rate of 800 and the smaller one was 500. The company was fine overall. They did their job and took care of the bins. I’m very likely to recommend them to anyone.

I found Zetta Construction online and we had them remove some old hot water tanks for us. They did a very good job overall. Victor and his guys came on time, did the work and that was it — no problems.

Zetta Construction got the bid to do the demolition of our home that exploded, then caught on fire in december 2012. I just wanted to say thank you for providing us with such a great track hoe/ excavator operator and support labourers.
