Holley Home Inspections – Unreliable! Do NOT recommend!
I recently engaged Holley Home Inspections for a home inspection on a property I was considering purchasing. Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the inspection and the subsequent report provided by the company.
While the inspector himself seemed knowledgeable during the on-site visit, I was shocked to find that the report I received was incomplete and unreliable. Several crucial details that were verbally discussed during the inspection were completely missing from the report. Areas that required attention were either mentioned in passing or not covered at all, leaving me with a superficial understanding of the property's condition.
What added to my frustration was the lack of professionalism displayed when I raised my concerns. Upon realizing the inadequacies of the report, I reached out to the owner of the company, expressing my disappointment and requesting a refund due to the subpar service I had received. To my surprise, my concerns were completely ignored, and the owner even went so far as to suggest that the report was thorough and accurate.
This dismissive attitude towards a legitimate concern only compounded my disappointment. As a customer, I expected a certain level of accountability and a willingness to address any shortcomings. Instead, I was met with resistance and a refusal to acknowledge the obvious gaps in the report.
It is with great regret that I cannot recommend Holley Home Inspections based on my experience. A reliable home inspection is a crucial aspect of the property buying process, and unfortunately, this company failed to deliver on its promises. I strongly urge anyone seeking a home inspection to carefully consider their options before choosing this particular service.

- Company Response
Klen;
On behalf of Holley Home Inspections, I'm sorry that you're dissatisfied with the report you received.
For 11+ years my company and I have performed some 4,000 inspections, most to overwhelmingly positive reviews. So I take it seriously when a client thoroughly dismisses the work we've done in a public forum.
We approach every inspection systematically: it's a comprehensive examination of the building from the basement to the roof, and the report we submit is structured to accurately reflect the salient information those inspections are designed to address. Notwithstanding, I make it clear to all clients at the outset; if there are questions or concerns after receipt of the report, I will personally address them by phone or in writing.
To be fair, I did respond in a subsequent email to the report's purported "deficiencies". In fact, that's what has brought us to this impasse; I cannot, personally or professionally, report on things that aren't either evident or relevant.
I don't know what more I can add. You are not pleased with the report you received, but in reviewing what was originally submitted to you, there's really nothing that I or my associate could or would, in good conscience, change.
