The ceiling area around my fireplace showed signs of leakage. The Home Pro worker felt that it was the old flashing around the chimney. The price was reduced from $550 to $400 if I agree to pay cash (I'm always suspicious of that...). While on the roof he found that some roof boards were rotted (not surprising) and that would be $300 more, $200 if I paid cash... I agreed. Once he had the roof boards off he found that the insulation was wet (not surprising) and that would be $800 (or $500 cash) to remove it. THAT is what has turned me off this company. I was stuck - there was a hole in my roof - what was I to do? Reluctantly I agreed to pay. The wet insulation filled less than one garbage bag and was removed in 15 minutes. $500! The worker then confided in me that because of a recent injury he was only being paid $15/h.
To top things off, he did not trim the bottom or top pieces of metal flashing, leaving a 2 inch overhang - perfect to collect rain water, ice and snow. I had to call the company to come back. The owner phoned to say that he had inspected the work and that the flashing was correct. It wasn't - I compared it to 150 chimneys in my area and none was done that way. They eventually sent another worker (7 hours late) who agreed that the first worker had bungled the job; he corrected it properly.
I will not deal with this company again.

A young man by the name of Suresh presented himself and was very polite and on time. He cleaned the eavestrough and advised me that the plumbing stack needed replacing and showed me a picture of the present one. He replaced the old stack and showed it to me. He also nailed down some loose shingles. He advised me of the condition of the rest of the roof. I was very pleased with the service.

I dealt with a gentleman named Ken from this company. I had a leaky roof and needed repair. I called a few companies in the past but they never really fixed the problem and it was reoccurring. Ken was able to address the problem and eventually fixed it. It was worth every penny. Ken was very informative and helpful and walked me through the entire process. Thank you Ken for being so helpful!
