The owner came, he was very fast, and cleaned my eavestrough and washed my windows so they looked brand new and shiny. he was a very pleasant guy to deal with.

Happened in June, 2014. Eavestrough cleaned by hand in less than 10 minutes. Told me there was a hole on my roof, probably caused by animals like racoons getting into my attic. Showed me a picture on their cell-phone of the extent of the damage. Quote me $1,300 + HST to do the repairs. Price subsequently reduced to $1,100 if I agree to pay them in cash and have the work done right there and then. I didn't buy into these, but their report of "damage" and a "big hole" on the roof haunted me over the entire winter months.

A few weeks back, I asked some roofers to provide me with quotes on a roof tune-up. None of them see a big hole or damages on my roof. No evidence whatsoever of entry by animals in to the attic either. I then realized Home Pro Exterior Services did not tell me the truth about the "damages" on my roof last summer knowing full well that I wouldn't be able to physically climb up the ladder to visually check such "damages".

Beware of this outfit. Not an honest company to conduct business with. Avoid at all cost !

I kept getting rebooked earlier this year so I got frustrated and said book me in for fall. They came by today, mind you it is raining, cleaned my gutter in like 15 mins and left. I cant see my eaves so I don't know how well of a job they did. The guy was nice but that's part of customer service

i found them threw a flyer, they came the same day which was good, but the whole cleaning felt rushed. i think because they charge less there guys are required to get a lot of cleaning done in 1 day. it took about 15 min which i thought was fast, they were nice but rushy.

I had this company come by for an eaves trough cleaning and I wasn't happy with the cleaning. It was my fault or not checking the work because I trusted them to do a good job. I had to call them again to redo the cleaning. Extra unpredicted inconvienience.

This was a GROUPON purchase. I want to be very clear that my complaint is with the company offering the service... HOME PRO EXTERIOR SERVICES ..and not with Groupon.

I bought a Groupon to have this company clean my eavestroughs and downspouts for $29. I've always had great experiences with Groupon companies, but not this time!

Dealings with the company were challenging, starting with when I had to call to set my appt. date back by one week. It was August 28 and I was greeted by a recording stating they were closed until after October 15 and to call back then. My appt. was for the next day, I was not prepared to sit back for 6 weeks til October 15, plus I needed the job done and had paid for it! I called Groupon and their rep had to start up things for their committee to investigate... all time-consuming for both of us.. and hour + out of my business day, only to then get a call from the company to confirm my appointment! She said sometimes that message comes on but they ARE there and doing business. We rebooked the appt for the next week, Sept. 5 and that was fine.... but all that time wasted for nothing.

Sept. 5 came and I called the company in the morning to see if I could get a closer-in ETA than the 12-5 window they want to leave you with. (having to reschedule my own business appts. for a whole afternoon, to then possibly not hear from the company until 4pm that they will arrive at 5pm.. is something I'd prefer to prevent if possible) I spoke with a man who 'sounded' mature and professional and was told that they would be there between 12-3pm.

12pm -3pm passed... 6pm passed... no sign of HOME PRO EXTERIOR SERVICES and no phone call.... ever.

Sept. 8/14.. this morning, I called the ph# used by the young woman to call me and that I later reached and spoke to that man with, the one who gave me the better arrival time. The number is now "unassigned".

I called 905-887-9116 and 416-321-9393, both phone numbers from their company listings online. On the first I was told this call could not be completed, and on the second was told this number is NTI (?) and can not be completed.

NICE.

And so it appears they may have closed shop, possibly shafting others as they did me by not honouring an appointment for their services which was paid for. Groupon thankfully, has refunded my money.

I'm writing to give all a heads -up and say that IF this company should surface and start conducting business, please be very cautious about giving them your business.

I score you a BIG FAT ZERO... HOME PRO EXTERIOR SERVICES!

Pro, eh... really !

My wife called them because some vines were pulling the gutters away from the roof. They charged $700 and were to put new hangers around the entire roof and seal the end of the gutters which were leaking. We found out later they put hangers only on one side of the house and the gutters continue to leak to this day. On the plus side they did alert us that some shingles were missing (thanks, raccoons) which would have resulted in a leak had we not known about it.

Company wrongfully charged my VISA for a partial roof repair after telling us that they would do the whole roof for $10,00 in cash which they took. They never finished the job and left part of the roof without shingles. When we attempted to contact the company, we were told to send an email. No one responded. We now find out that the answering service is shut down, the email address is invalid and there is a major fraud charge against this company laid by Toronto Police. They also tried to charge us an additional $13,100 for mold remediation, a beam replacement we found out was unnecessary, and other overpriced repairs. The mold remediation cost us $1700 from a mold remediation expert; Home Pros wanted us to pay them $5248 for the same work (and according to Mr. Mould,they were going to use an inferior process. So we are now having to complain to Better Business Bureau, find out how to charge this person, whose name, should he start up another company, we believe, is Scott (last name is on the Better Business Bureau site). The technician who first came out was Calvin. We withheld $400 of the $10,000 to get them to come back and finish the roof, but they have just disappeared. BEWARE! Don't deal with a company that hides behind an answering service. If you have had similar experiences with this company please contact the police!

I was impressed with Home Pro's professional approach. A gentleman named Brandon visited our home and taught me about the importance of the number eavestrough brackets, the importance of venting the attic & roof and took pictures of our chimney deterioration. Everyone is concerned that contractors may not be honest, but everything Brandon told me was on an episode of Holmes on Homes that evening. He explained about conducting repairs and the difference between new morter and re-bricking the chimney, to add a whirly bird venting system, to the life of my shingles (forgive me these are my roofing terms...) Their staff is hospitable and even helped me remove a fallen tree branch from the winter. I would trust them for all my roofing needs - job well done!

I bought a voucher online for a roof tune and had a guy named roshan or rosham come by. He was an informative technician, he even suggested certain things to increase the longevity of my roof. He gave me a quote which i didnt go through with on the spot but after speaking to my husband we called this company back and they just left my house. Im happy with the additional shingle work done and the initial roof tune up
