Green Edge Spray Foam Insulation No Longer In Business

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with James Keegan of GreenEdge. He was extremely professional, pleasant and I felt very sincere when we discussed what the challenge was with my floors being extremely cold in the winter. James went in the crawl space which had to be accessed by laying on your stomach and crawling in. He took pictures of the condition of the crawl space so I could understand the need for the insulation (I did not have any). The day his Company sprayed the insulation they were very clean and left nothing for me to do in the form of clean up. I would recommend James Keegan to anyone who was looking for a professional job.

I will write a new review once the colder weather has returned as the job was started in the first week of march and our prime complaint was the freezing cold basement to which had not been resolved with Jame's first visit. He returned in June to fix issues from the first spray but because of the much warmer weather I really cannot say if the freezing cold issue has been resolved and I will return as soon as possible to give my honest review.
Thank you James for returning and cleaning up the disheveled insulation and filling in missing gaps. I sincerely hope this has resolved or at least warmed our basement up a few degrees.

There had been no insulation installed in the walls when I had windows replaced several years ago. This led to considerable damage to the walls from moisture. GreenEdge Spray Foam Insulation company came quickly, explained the procedure, advised me clearly and did an incredible job. James was fair, friendly, helpful. He took time to explain the entire situation, and the procedure. He also made time in his schedule to do the work as soon as possible. Now there is such a difference in the two rooms that were affected by not having any insulation: the temperature is evenly controlled, and there is no evidence of any moisture getting into the walls. Even when there was a terrible rainstorm, and melting ice, there was no issue in the rooms. I highly recommend James Keegan and his company to anyone in need of proper insulation.

We were finishing our basement and asked James to come and give us a quote for the basement walls to ensure a warm and cozy area. James is very knowledgeable and gave us a great quote and timeline for when he could complete his work. He did everything expected and was very efficient and informative of his work. We would recommend him and use his services again in the future.

Our children's room is above the garage. There room has always been really cold in winter and really hot in summer. Had it sprayed with 2lb foam 3" thick. This company was extremely professional and honest. Did above and beyond in work quoted. Great job and recommended. Pricing is right on. Will be using again.

about a week ago had spray foam insulation done at my cottage by GreenEdge Spray Foam Insulation.Very professional and friendly .very happy with the job they did I will recommend this company to anyone .

The main floor of our house was insulated with fiberglass and we added more blown in insulation to the attic about 4 years ago - but some of the floors in our main living area were still cold and our basement was damp and smelly.
We had noticed the GreenEdge Spray Foam Insulation truck in our area and decided to give them a call. James, the owner of the business, came to our house the very next day to see if he could help.
He had an infrared heat gun and was able to show us all of the hot/cold spots in our house. He took us to the basement and showed us spaces between the main floor and the basement where cold air was entering. We also had a lot of heat loss around the basement windows and some vents in the basement wall.
We had some old paneling in the basement and when James pulled out a piece of paneling we could see that there was no insulation at all and there was a musty smell behind the paneling.
He explained that there was no vapor barrier and the warm air in the room was going right through the paneling to the cold basement wall causing the bad smell.
James returned that night with quotes for different options. We opted to remove all of the old musty and dated paneling and to seal the entire basement with closed cell spray foam insulation. This not only insulated our basement it provided a vapor barrier to eliminate that musty smell we had.
James showed up in two days with his truck, trailer and a helper. He took the time to show us his equipment and how it worked - I was quite impressed with his setup - that's quite an investment.
They had the entire project finished in two days.
James came back in a few days and took some new thermal images around our house - we could see that there was no heat loss coming from the basement at all.
He showed us some heat loss around our main floor windows, doors and electrical outlets and some loss through light fixtures in the ceiling that someone else had insulated a few years ago.
I'm going to have James come back and see if he can help us with those items.
Our musty smell is gone and I know I am going to see a big difference in our heating and air conditioning bills. It is completely air and water tight and keeps out critters too. It is hard to explain - but the basement just "feels" so much better.

I had GreenEdge come in and spray the basement walls when I renovated my lower level. Not only was James extreamly informative and profession but he also went above and beyand my expectations. James was able to show me all the areas where there was "cool" spots and once the application was complete he was able to show me the differance after he was done. It was amazing! GreenEdge also sprayed the liner of my hot tub and it has made a huge change in my hydo needed to run the hot tub. The aplication on the hot tub alone reduced my electric bill by $25.00 a month! I would highly reccomend GreenEdge to all my friends and family!!!!

I hired James from GreenEdge Spray Insulation to spray my basement renovation. We didn't want to do the traditional batt insulation because of the time and mess. He was in and out within ONE day and left the basement cleaner than when he came in! We are almost done the renovation now. I can hardly wait to sit down in my nice, cozy basement this winter.
