Restoration 1 Newmarket

Due to the recent ice storm we lost power for an extended period of time resulting in our sump pump being off. We had extensive water in our basement. We called Restoration 1 and Tony was at our door within an hour. He explained in detail what was needed and the cost. He, along with his two strapping young lads did what was necessary. We needed fans running for three days. These were checked on daily. When we were finally dried out, all the furniture was replaced to our instructions. Tony and his boys did an awesome job. We would have no hesitation to refer them to friends and family.

A surprise leak in basement bathroom brought Tony to our home at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday evening to identify cause and restore wet ceiling. Tony was referred by our plumber. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. His team was friendly and careful when manoeuvring equipment in our home (paying attention to walls, etc) Tony set up equipment quickly to tend to the problem and he was consistently in contact regarding status of problem. Customer service was great and Tony was a pleasure to deal with in getting the job done efficiently.

Tony (company owner) was consistently a pleasure to work with. He and his crew were responsible for the removal of basement mould and the professional and timely repair to the wall on two separate jobs. His workmanship was impressive; Tony was thorough and meticulous. He also went above and beyond, bringing in another specialist to check our foundation for the possible origin of our water damage. Tony is kind, trustworthy in his word and impeccable in his quality of service. Mould and water damage is something that we hope to never have to deal with and yet it was such a relief to know that Restoration 1 and Tony were the ones to take care of everything, including our concerns of the mould returning. Thank you Tony! You have been so amazing to work with!

I had a sewer back up in August, I called a local plumbing company to fix the problem and the plumber suggested Restoration 1 Newmarket. Tony sent out 2 of his techs within 45 minutes of our conversation. Tyler and Adam worked until midnight and came back the next morning to continue the clean up. A few weeks later Tonys' contractor started the repairs and our home looks better than it did before the flood. Tony and his crew were very professional and took the time to answer all of our questions, he billed our insurance company directly just like he said he would. I cannot say enough good things about Restoration 1 Newmarket, I highly recommend them.

I had a crack in the foundation of my home which caused water damage and mould in my basement. I contacted Restoration 1 Newmarket through their Facebook page and instantly got a reply from Tony. We set up an appointment for the job to be assessed. Tony and his team arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of my entire basement. After our first meeting I was confident that I made the right choice with this company. Tony was professional and answered all of my questions that day and also all of my questions leading up to the day of the job. I received a detailed quote/contract for the job through email a few days after our first meeting.

On the day of the job Tony explained exactly what they would be doing. They were very carful to protect my home from any damage or contamination by covering my stairs, covering vents and sealing the doorways and entryways.

The job was completed in approximately 4 hours. All the mould was removed from the walls and the floors. They also removed a wall in the laundry room that was also damaged by water. When they were done they completely cleaned the entire basement and left it spotless. Tony also contacted me a few days after the job was complete to make sure that I was happy with the job.

A leaky pipe, probably for years, caused extensive water damage, with some mould. Tony quickly quoted the job, fixed the problem, and then did the extra work of fixing the complete water damage, showing numerous carpentry skills. I was very impressed with his work ethic, excellent finishing , and final quote. Job well done.

We had a hot water pipe which was pierced by a nail from the dry wall since construction. The problem was unnoticed until became big by flooding on May 13th 2015 11 pm evening. We had to shut down main water switch. The plumber came and checked it was a pipe inside the wall of my main floor washroom. The plumber had to cut open the wall to get to the hot water pipe and replace it, but leaving an open cut in my washroom wall which he can not fix. He recommended Restoration 1 which can restore anything back to original. Next day, I called Restoration 1 and Tony Williams came. He was punctual and polite. He assessed the cost and used a fan to dry out the wet and mold smell of my bathroom wall. He had to come three consecutive days. On the last day, which is Saturday, he knocked on the door instead of ringing the door bell so not to wake up any children sleeping. He filled and sanded the wall with no marks of any cut along with the same paint color. It is a perfect ten. And it was not expensive and reasonable cost.

I called Restoration 1 on a Friday evening after a sink overflowed in my kitchen, which spread to the wall to the wall carpeting. Tony arrived at the agreed time and provided a professional and realistic assessment of the situation. Throughout the experience Tony was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and always on time. I would highly recommend this service and would not hesitate to use them again.
