To prove my point, they installed our green roof last year and are coming back to do a landscape art installation out front this year.

I found the winter snow removal service to be excellent. They never missed one snow day all winter and came as soon as the snow had stopped whether it was early morning, late at night or even overnight. They used the best quality snow melt product so that my stone walkways and driveway were not damaged in any way . They made sure that my front steps, porch and back deck were always cleared. They were efficient, hard working and conscientious.

We were in desperate need of a yard overhaul so after researching our options we hired Landcare. They prepared a plan and finished the project within three weeks, pulling out all the stops to complete the work before a family reunion we had scheduled. The stonework and gorgeous gardens exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier with the final result. We have had many neighbours stop by to comment on how wonderful the yard now looks. We have also been pleased with the regular maintenance they provide - they are always efficient and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend Landcare to anyone looking for someone to landscape their property.

Land care did all my landscaping for a new house and has done my lawn maintenance in my old house and new. Experience has been excellent. Owner and staff have always been friendly and professional and have always listened to and dealt with my needs.

I have been using Landcare for 3 years (this would have been the 4th year). The service was decent aside from missing me 2 times in the cycle last year and made it seem it was my fault because the crew couldn't find parking. They didn't even communicate that they were having this issue but charged me anyway (BTW they could have parked in front of my driveway anytime they wanted). The first time I complained about it and the second time I just let it go because I didn't want to communicate with the always stressed out Lana.

I don't believe I was ever difficult or whiny towards them but I usually got a defensive response for any question I had and always made me feel like they were doing me a favour (except for Ted, he is always pleasant).

This year I wanted to cut down on some of the services I usually sign up for with Landcare such as the spring and fall cleanups and Landcare FIRED me LOL! They said "...Our routes are almost full already, and we have many requests for full service..." I guess they are done doing me the favour of working for me.

However, I was told that "...there are many landscape companies in Toronto that can easily meet [my] requirements!" So thank you Lana for helping me with that! Always a pleasure.

Rob Crysdale and his crew really improved the look of our front and back yards. His crew were professional and knowledgeable about laying down patio stones to planting shrubs and trees.

Landcare is a local landscaping company in my neighborhood. I decided to go for a local company rather than trust a top-rated Homestars recommendation (big mistake).

I asked the team to clear my front and back yard and prep it all before the summer. I was constantly chasing Stewart and his team to actually come and do the job and once it was complete it wasn't done right. I had to ask them to come back and again chased them to actually show up. In the end I paid a lot for a little and my yard didn't look much different. I was disappointed but thought it best to pay up and forget about Landcare and just move on.

To make matters worse, as I was driving recently a Landcare van was recklessly driving and cut me off - an indication of the way they run their business as far as I am concerned.

My advice - stay away!

First met with Todd and it was great. He took the time and effort to make sure we were on the same page with regards to what I wanted. Pat and team did the work. Great job. Very professional. Even the neighbours complimented them. A couple of things that came up when the work was being done, were addressed and resolved. Overall I was happy with them. However 2 people I've recommended them to aren't too pleased.. so I guess satisfaction depends on if they are right for your project or not.
