The new finish peeled off in a few spots because client dragged some furniture without having pads under the legs. The original floors had a poor quality varnish on and some places the finish was completely gone. Client hired us to touch up spots and re- varnish the entire floors to make them look better. We did buff everything and applied 2 coats of high quality polyurethane but in some spots the finish didnt adhere properly resulting in a more sensitive finish. If furniture is not dragged on the floor there should have no problem. The only way to do a perfect job is to remove all the finish, re-stain and varnish again. We are going to touch up the damaged spots at no extra charge.
