Troubleshooting Dimming Lights
We moved into a newly renovated home and we found that all the lights in our house were dimming every time any appliance turned on in the house. We had three electricians (Great Dane, All Source and Rockwood Electric) visit our house and Shane from Rockwood Electric was the only person who was able to diagnose and help with the solution. Shane charged me his flat service rate despite spending over 4 hours at my house helping to diagnose the problem. I would have gladly paid him hourly given the quality of service which also came with a full money back guarantee if he wasn't able to solve the problem. The problem turned out to be on Enmax's end (Shane contacted Enmax on my behalf). Having a master electrician call Enmax on your behalf gets you a whole other level of service. Enmax is now working to fix the problem which is taking time and at this point I wouldn't expect anymore help from Shane. However, three weeks after he helped me out he followed up to let me know he has continued to work with Enmax to move my case along and that I am now in the queue for having the problem solved. Shane went above and beyond the call of duty for me.
