I paid $1700 for door to door transport one batch of lamps from calgary to Shanghai in 2015. When it arrived, I found almost half of lamps have been damaged. I contact with J-link, until now, no any compensation and no reply from this company.

They do long distance moving by volume. not by weight. it is transparent to every one. it make sense, save money and make it easy for long distance moving. They will move your stuff to their warehouse first and stack them on pallet, wrap them tight and then calculate volume, then moving them to your new home. By the way, they offer free boxes and packing material which is great.
