Let our experience be a warning to anyone thinking about using Anco Home Improvements. We had Anco replace our all windows in our home as well as replace the siding. First, the siding was not installed correctly and now whenever the wind picks up the siding separates from the house. Then one of the seals went on one of the windows they replaced so it looks foggy inside. As it was still under warranty, we called to have them fix it. They claimed they did not have the original paper work so could not verify, but would look into it and call us back. Of course, nothing came from that and they wouldn't return our phone calls. So we dig up the original paperwork and call back. Again, they say they will look into it but have done absolutely nothing and will no longer return our phone calls.
Please do not use this company.

Anco replaced the shingles, soffit, fascia and eaves troughing on my 2 story home. They were reasonably priced, did the job right away before the winter and it looks great. Jim was easy to deal with and i would not hesitate to reccomend him to a friend.

They replaced the roof, windows, doors and siding as part of one contract. During installation of the siding, my dad had to point out to the crew that they needed to make a new chalk line because they were not applying the siding straight. They came back once a year later to fix a portion of the siding that was coming off, and it subsequently came off again. (Siding should hold for years and years). When I contacted them again, they did not respond. My doorbell wires were severed at the time the doors were being replaced. The exterior furnace vent was damaged, and according to the furnace inspector it was from something falling from quite a height. This happened at the time the roof was being done. The only ones who did a good job through this contractor were the shinglers. Even after having checked references, and doing all of the things one should do when considering a company, I ended up with these issues. Definitely wouldn't hire ANCO again.
