Worst service Ive experienced in a long time. Heat pump stopped working and called this company. They sent technician out who advised I needed new inner fan. Came and replaced the fan, but the remote didnt seem to work anymore and technician said I needed a new remote. Ordered a new remote and still did not operate heat pump. Called Shine back and they sent another technician who said the main board was gone and needed to be replaced. Second technician said the problem was not with the remote control. They ordered the part and set appointment time. I waited home from 12-4 and close to 4 they called and said technicians were stuck on large project and apologized and said they could come two days later between 12-4. Manager apologized and said that no matter what came across their table, they would make my appointment the priority.

Waited today again between 12-4 and called them again at about 3:50 when nobody showed up, and the lady advised me that the technician was just finishing up another job and would be over within the hour. I could hear in her voice she sounded very unsure, and sure enough 10 mins later another staff member calls me says unfortunately the technician wont be able to make it and how bout we just book for tomorrow. I told her I had just wasted two days sitting at home waiting for a technician that apparently was never going to show, , ordered a remote I didnt need upon the advice of the first technician that came, and I was done.

Im a pretty low maintenance guy and like to think Im pretty understanding, but this was hand down the worst service from any company Ive ever dealt with..

The work went quickly and the installers seemed very well trained . The clean up was all done so I am so far very satisfied .

Very neat and professional installation of the new electrical panel. I had two pumps installed, one with two heads and the other with three heads. I needed one of the heads installed on an interior wall and they were able to do that. An initial problem with one of the heads was quickly resolved. All workers were professional. Simon was especially so.

Shines energy did our home heat pump system back in June 2023. They were also back this past spring for the systems annual maintenance. From install to follow up service the company & staff have been great to deal with. Very quick install when we decided to buy & they offered a discount on their annual service. Definitely worth it.

I requested quote from Shines Energy for work. I liked lad who visited to discuss work. Concern for me was install of 10/2 electrical wire to panel. I am fussy. I ran wire myself to ensure careful workmanship.

Shines never actually did any work on this project. I installed hwh myself with assistance from an electrical contractor. That likely sounds sketchy.

I have spent $38000 on my rescue pet and decided to save $. But if i could afford the $2700 quote I would likely have them perform the work.

I replaced the walls in my living room and needed them to take the heat pump head down for a month as I completed the work. The take down was done in 3 hrs max and was great. After I was complet d called them back to get it put back up. It worked in the day it was done. 2 weeks later we wanted to use the AC, but it won't work. I call d then to take a look, they came within 3 days, great response and I got a call from the branch manager apologizing for the issue. The tech came and found out that the last tech made the cooper too tight to the head and cracked the line so all of the coolant slowly leaked out of the unit he connected it and fixed it, but now the line was too short and a corner of the plastic was out of place by half and inch. U called again they come back the next day sent their best man and they finally got it fixed.

I was very pleased with the professionalism in cleaning our heat pump. We have used this service several times and are completely satisfied. When it is time for service in the future, we wont hesitate to use Shines Energy. Karen and Mike

Yes, I would recommend Shine Energy. I would also suggest that a Shine person stay until all contractors have completed their work.

Nice people, super quick and had everything installed in less than 3 days. Recommend, fast but expensive
