Shines Energy

I had a service call with Shines Energy when the tech took the unit apart, there was a blown fuse to the fan motor. The technician told me he did not have any fuses to change the fuse to test the rest of the unit. ($ 200 service call )
He told me there was a issue with the fan motor and i was quoted at over $1300 to replace it (which I priced out the motor and bracket that i was quoted for from a lg dealer at a price of $160 for both while pricing the fuse)

The technician told me the rest of the unit could not be checked until the fuse was replaced. (Which was a $5 fuse to buy and a 2 minute job which I ended up doing myself other then the opinion below )

They wanted a additional $125 plus tax plus parts to replace the fuse or do it myself and not know if anything else was wrong until motor was replaced or book another $200 service call to find out. Called the company and talked to a service manager about the issue he wouldn't let me get a word in talked over top of me the whole conversation to the point where I hung up..... He called me back and I told him the reason I hung up was I couldn't get a word in to explain the issue... nothing was resolved with him so I called another company explained the situation and they are going to come by and do a full diagnostics they were great and will be getting my business.
Would not recommend this company to others after my experience

Great job by technicians. They were efficient, friendly and fast. Very professional. Definitely would recommend their services.

Received a call that Shines Energy could come a week prior to my appointment and was thrilled. Connor showed up in a short period of time, explained everything very well, was very pleasant and respectful and thorough. Explained he has to come back next week and why and what had to take place. A second guy came the next time, he left the job early, broke my water pipe for the heat pump and it caused water damage to my walls and floor and expensive picture I had on my wall. Third guy came and he found out the hose was broken by the second guy and said he had to order the part. 4th guy came replaced the part and due to the damage and problems I had with them they didnt charge me.

Ryan and his colleagues arrived early, installed proper gauge wire (included in estimate), new 40 gallon hot water tank and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent service from start to finish including initial response time to requesting service/estimate. Thanks again Shines Energy, no problem recommending your service and staff!
