We hired the Aurora Interlock, Landscaping & Pools company to install new steps and 2-m interlock. We trusted Nick with measurements and the order of materials.
We ended up with steps that were much narrower than the porch. There was a gap between the steps and the wall large enough for a foot to fit. It made the new steps less safe than the old ones. We also noticed thanks to the rain that the new interlock had wrong slope and that water collected along the wall and in a few stones that were visibly lower than others. We were promised 2-year warranty therefore I called Nick and told him about the 2 problems: the gap and the wrong slope of interlock. My concerns were completely ignored. We hired new contractor, got lucky and found a professional who fixed the mistakes.
