We had an issue with our washing machine not working properly. We were concerned that it would be a major expense to fix and were contemplating whether or not to buy a new one. We shopped around and came across Chris from Uptown Appliance. He had very reasonable quotes. He came to our house right away and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to assess the problem immediately. He fixed our washing machine and it has been running smoothly ever since. Thanks to Chris, we don't have to buy a new one now. I would recommend Chris to anyone who needs a friendly, knowledgeable and honest appliance repair person.

Chris returned our call on a Saturday night. He diagnosed our circuit board issue, ordered the part and replaced the part as soon as it became available (3 days).

I recently had some problems with my wash and dryer and was referred to Uptown Appliance by a friend. Due to my work schedule, my time is very limited, but Uptown Appliance was very accommodating and able to schedule a service call in the evening. Chris Lyras was the service person that came to my place, and I was very impressed at how outgoing yet still professional he was. Unfortunately, I am one of those people that like to hover over service people. Chris actually seemed to be okay with it. He also walked me through what the problem was, how to deal with it, and how to avoid the same problem in the future. He was very knowledgeable, but not condescending when he explained things to me. Of course, the best part was how inexpensive the work was. I was fully prepared to pay up to $500 for both to be fixed, but I was extremely happy when it came to just under half that. Uptown Appliance is definitely my go to for all my appliance needs, and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for great service.
