We had our future home in Mono inspected by Stephen Kelk in November 2015, Stephen was very thorough, he guided us through the entire inspection process, drawing our attention to every possible issue and explained how to correct/fix it. He explained general maintenance items as well as things that should be monitored, and some others that should receive attention sooner. We were able to make our own evaluations and his suggestions to the vendor had issues corrected before we moved in at no extra cost to us. He was patient and most understanding of the fact that this would be our first rural home and our lack of knowledge on country properties and their systems. His inspection was in compliance with the Standards of Practice of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®)
Within 7 hours of inspection Stephen sent via email a detailed computer generated inspection report including photographs, home maintenance information and general cost guide and a systems life expectancy guide. His fees are comparable to other home inspectors. We would highly recommend Stephen.
