I had a number of quotes for this work, all were in about the same range but these guys were the highest by about 20%. I picked them despite the higher price as Darwin and Ron came across as very professional. Despite having given them a 30% deposit to hold a spot for the work to get done, they were still more than 4 weeks late getting the job done. Considering it was less than a day and half total work you would think it would be a bit easier to schedule.

They did good work but when I received the final bill they had tacked on an extra $1,000. Considering the verbal quote went from 3.500 to 4,500 and then the written quote came in at $5,600 I think there has been enough price escalation on a fairly simple job.

I would have used them next spring for an even bigger project but given their billing practices I am going to go looking for someone else.
