Very disappointed with this company. They were hired to complete a concrete driveway extension as well as a concrete at the side of our home, which was never completed and none of our money was returned. We also got the run around and Richard made multiple promises to return the money via in person as well as through the mail. That never happened. The workers that came to my property damaged my driveway and my lawn. As a result, I was told I wanted free work only after I gave $2000 cash deposit for a $4000 job that was never completed. Richard's only explanation was he had a broken back. That is unfortunate but waiting for three months to have work completed was also unacceptable. All we wanted back was the majority of our deposit for the work/damage to our property was no more than $400 which included the bin they had on my driveway for over a week. Extremely disappointed with the service and the behaviour and attitude of Richard of Jadayda Ventures. I would never recommend them. May I add Richard not only ignored calls and text messages for the most part, but when he did answer he became aggressive and unwilling to fix the problem, he no longer behaved in a trust worthy manner like the day he collected our $2000 cash... Last year we hired Jadayda ventures for snow removal. We were happy with their reliability so this fall, we decided to hire them again to build us a full, 4 piece bathroom in the basement of our home. The price was more than reasonable but it took a few days longer than expected to complete the job. The reason for this was us changing the tiles were originally selected and ordered. And even though it was a pure inconvenience for them, they were accommodating and professional about it. We have just renewed our snow removal agreement with them for this coming winter.

this is the third year my wife and I have been hiring Jadayda Venture guys for snow removal. We had two nasty winters in a row and these guys just kept up with all of it like its nothing. Always reliable and there on time. We hired them again this year and recommended them to a couple friends and neighbors in our area.

Regardless of the fact that it was a nasty winter, we never had to call and remind them to clean our plaza.

They were the fourth company we tried over the last few years and the only one that actually SHOWED UP, did the job properly and on time.

My wife Narinder and I live in Pickering and since we had a good experience with these guys last winter, we hired them in September to do our backyard.
They built us a beautiful deck, interlock, flower beds... So creative!

They were three days behind schedule due to heavy rain but once again they did not disappoint us and they did did a fantastic job.
Money well spent!

We just signed a new contract with them for snow removal for this winter because we know we will be in good hands.

JADAYDA was recommended to us by our friend Barbara from Burlington.

We needed to get our basement ready to rent on Sept 01.
We were on vacation, just came back and the time was tight.

We called these guys and they came within two hours, gave us an estimate that was more than reasonable, answered all our questions promptly and started work within three days.

The job was fully done in less then three weeks.
And done even better then we imagined.

They have absolutely fantastic designers and our basement apartment is just gorgeous.

Their field manger Richard was such a professional and nice man and our kids were all over him every time they would see him. It was so strange for us to see. They usually don't warm up to strangers easily.

The company installed a beautiful unilock patio in our backyard. The project manager Richard was on top of the project from start to finish and kept us informed along the way. There were some delays due to rain, but in the end we are thrilled with final result. Guys were friendly and even cleaned up after themselves.

Project started off well with a quick quote and friendly service. Then things just went downhill from there. We feel stupid for not reading the signs and trusting our gut early on and saving ourselves a huge headache, the loss of the use of our backyard for the whole summer and the loss of $9,550 only to have to start from scratch again with a real professional who actually knows what they are doing.
- A full and detailed explanation of the quote was requested and never provided. In fact when pressed for it they got very aggressive with us suggesting we were only doing this to not pay them or negotiate a further reduction in price.
- When we challenged their request for the next payment due to the fact that there was no significant progress. They threatened us that they would walk off the job and packed up their tools and became very aggressive. We started to be fearful of Richard.
- Fence post installation was terrible. Not installed to required depth by code and twisted. We had to remove the ones around 2 feet depth and redo ourselves. No compensation offered. Plus we had to spend more on materials to redo the work.
- Promises to start the work just kept coming. The start date was after when the project was promised to be completed. Small influence of rain delay but not significant. Three completion dates were provided and none were met.
- First real day on site was simply to unload wood waste and pallets removed from a previous site and dumped into our yard. Hazard for our toddlers that used the yard while waiting for work to start. Not removed until I protested and provided dated photos that it was present in the yard. The e-mails from Ileana were aggressive and unprofessional in response.
- Promised large equipment and a waste remove bin to do the digging and soil removal. Neither ever appeared, only excuses given as to why not.
- Workers seem ill equipped to do the tasks at hand and had not the skills to know how to address the project. Richard the site manager seemed to know what to do but never seemed to be around to direct the crew. Despite having promised to be on site every day and doing the work himself.
- All the stone work that was put down was done incorrect to the professional landscape plan that was provided. (not square, not level and not to measurements)
- When ever asked to correct their mistakes they were indignant and tried to argue with us. Despite the measurements being off the design plan and the errors being ridiculously obvious.
- They did not complete some basic steps for the stone work. Like removing all excess soil, prepping the whole landscape and tamping the screening prior to laying any stones. So as a result with every new section they would get dirt on to the new stone work filling all the cracks with dirt prior to any finishing sand going down. Also none of the elevations were determined before starting work. So much of it had to be redone as they progressed and realized the elevation was incorrect.
- After 6 weeks on the project and basically very little progress and not being happy with any of the work, being told that we should “stop micro managing the project” and we were “very un- professional clients”. We decide to ask them to leave our property take the loss and find someone else to complete the project.
- We were fearful of retribution from them and still are. However, we would hate to see other go through the challenges we have and lose as much money as we have. So we are speaking out.

The company were doing work across the road, so I asked for a quote. The quote was reasonable, same day, and the work started. Rain delays aside, the work progressed quickly, and I am really pleased with the result. My peaceful backyard is beautiful, and the neighbours are impressed with the front (me too!). It's really well done. The guys were friendly and they cleaned up after. Thank-you Jadaydaventures!

The completed work was generally very well done. The paving stone installation was excellent. The common fence was also excellent however the downspout was left hanging and not re-attached to the fence. The real issue I had was the length of time the project took to complete. The neighbor signed the contract at Easter and the fence was done later in June after being promised end of April. The paving stone work was done in a more reasonable time. Richard the site foreman tried hard to make things happen but there appeared to be delays on other jobs or they overbooked their projects.
