Aztech Masonry

Hired Aztec talked to govanni and during job to Jamie. They promised me there work was under warranty for 10 years. Ledges all came loose and it's been 1 1/2 months. Govanni says on at least 12 conversations 100 % covered by there warranty. No one has come govanni does not answer at all and main line is out service they can't be reached unless they want to be. I am very upset. When they were on the job the bricklayer made a number of rookie mistakes and almost got into a fight with the laborer. I had to stop them or it would of happened. They do the seem willing to fix a small problem I could only assume what would happen if they landing a large job.

Use caution and govanni come fix your work please.

We hired Aztech last November 2015 to repair the existing wall (which had a lot of cracks) as we just bought the house.
Two guys, that left the company a few months after, performed the job but after a month only it started cracking again... and we spent $4000 for that!

In Spring, I called Aztech again (as they gave me a 10 year warranty on their work) and asked them to come to see the wall and discuss the next steps with us... We ended up demolishing the old wall (as there was no sound structure) and they rebuilt it using a subcontractor in June.
I paid an additional $6000 for that. Of course they admitted that a repair of the old wall was a mistake (as it wouldn't hold) which is why they came back knowing they could get more money from us...

Of course with the warranty I got and the money I already paid, I had no choice but using them again or I would have wasted $4000!..

My husband and I realized they have nobody experienced, so they are using sub-contractors most of the time that they pay much less than what you paid them for, they are really unprofessional, everything but reliable and on the top of that not performing/providing any quality work at all.

They always went for cheaper material, and when after 2 months (end of August this year) I contacted them again as I saw fine cracks appearing as well as I thought the cuts made in the concrete walkway were too deep (about 5 inches where it's usually 1 inch only) I wanted them to come back and assess.
Bill (project manager) asked me first to send him some pictures which I did; I waited a while to get a response, he said he would swing by but never did despite my several follow-up emails and calls or text messages my husband sent him..

Last time I called them was last Tuesday (Nov 8th) and left a voicemail. Obviously nobody called me back so I wrote them an email the same day letting them know that the way they are treating their customers is truly unacceptable and really shocking.

This company has no respect, no consideration, no courtesy and no reliability AT ALL.

Very bad experience with this company and I will never hire them again nor that I recommend them to anybody.
Just stay away from Aztech Masonry.

I hired Aztec Masonry to lay stone over brick on frond and side of my home. It was a pleasure to deal with Jamie. A very easy going person will full respect for customers. He was always on time and took a good care of all my concerns. I highly recommend Jamie (Aztech) for any of your masonry requirements.

Aztech was very professional and timely. Chevon followed up in a very timely manner and they explain things and give you time to ascertain your options. The pointing and tucking were done perfectly for my old house and matched up things quite well. They cleaned up the area nicely and professionally. Well done guys!

We are extremely pleased with all aspects of the work performed by Aztech Masonry from the initial consultation through to overseeing the progress and final cleanup. Our steps are built to last and we have a warranty. The crew led by a third generation stone mason worked diligently throughout and although having to deal with a confined space issue the job was completed as outlined in the quote and ahead of time.

The first few layers of bricks on our chimney appeared to be crumbling and we wanted to take care of it before it became worse. We contacted three companies for quotes and advice about what the best repair would be. The first company was a general repair business and the other two were masonry specialists. The first quote was ridiculously low, and we crossed them off our potential list immediately. Aztech and the other company suggested the same repair and their quotes were different by less than $25.00.

What really set Aztec apart from the other masonry company was their level of professionalism and service. They were the only company that provided any warranty and a written estimate. They sent someone out within two days of calling for the repair, assigned a project manager to handle all our questions, changes, requests, etc., and dealt with all these efficiently and pleasantly.

The job was started promptly, as promised, shortly after we agreed to go ahead with the project. Once they started the job they discovered that there was more layers of bricks to be repaired than initially thought. The additional cost was minimal and they contacted us before continuing. The crew cleaned up any mess from debris, etc as they went along. They even brought in my garbage and recycling bins. They were friendly, professional and respectful of our privacy. The job was finished promptly and any and all changes or unexpected events were communicated to us promptly, all new commitments as a result of these were kept. The work looks great and I am glad that we chose Aztec Masonry. I look forward to dealing with them again should I need any of the services they provide.

I am pleased that I chose AZtech masonary as contractor over other top masonry you would find on homestar, they are very professional did my work in my budget there workmanship is excellent finished job on time cleaned the work area before leaving , most important the worked with me on price.
I would recommend them over any masonry companies out there.

This past fall I hired Aztech masonry to build an addition onto my house, I was very impressed with the company from the initial contact with Gevoni and Bill to the job completion with Jamie and the crew. The estimator arrived at my house on time as scheduled and explained in detail what was required to complete my project from the masonry perspective, and I received a quote the next day. We then scheduled an appropriate starting date and the crew showed up and got straight to work, working very professionally and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with the results from Aztech masonry and would recommend them to anyone seeking masonry work done!!
