Milano Windows & Doors

We recently had both our main floor windows and screen/sliding doors replaced with Milano Windows and Doors. From the initial meeting to the completed service, I cannot express how pleased we were with the entire experience. It was exceptional.

I heard of Milano from my Mother in Law, who also had several windows and also her sliding doors replaced in her home in late August. When I saw her sliding doors, I immediately asked for her to set me up with Milano. She didn't hesitate because she too was very pleased with the overall service. She advised that out of 4-5 companies she called within the Durham area and the GTA, Milano was a) the most affordable for the best product and b) the only company able to provide service in a reasonable timeframe (a 4-5 week wait instead of 2-3 months as other companies were quoting her).

I immediately set up a meeting with Matthew who provided a great quote for 2 large windows, 2 small windows and 2 large sliding doors.

We met with Matthew in late September, and my new windows were installed by the end of October 2014 - on the date as promised, no delays.

The men who came to our home to do the replacements were courteous, friendly and worked efficiently. They were at my home for about 5-6 hours and I had to insist that they stop and eat some lunch - they wouldn't stop until they completed some of the things they were working on. They were respectful of my home and furniture (which they needed to work around) and they tidied up after completion. This was key to me because with three kids running around the house, it is important that any debris and scraps are out of harm's way.

In closing even the post customer service was top-notch. After the initial service, I didn't realize that the bathroom window wasn't frosted as agreed upon until my husband advised that he had requested a frosted glass. When looking at our contract, we understand how this direction may have been easily missed and didn't think it was a major issue at all - but we did want it changed to frosted. The men had already left for the day and the main office closed, but I left a message at about 7 pm at night, the following morning right at 9 am - Matthew called me and I didn't have to say anything or argue my point. Without hesitation, he said he will order the replacement and call when they are ready to change the window. They just changed that today and it took but five minutes. It looks great.

Anna at the head office is really helpful and responsive to calls as well. It's a good team! I already recommended them to our neighbour who came by the next day to ask about the service. We plan to use them again in the near future when our budget allows for us to change our doors!
