Somehow we got a huge bat flying around our home in the middle of the night . I got the bat secured in a bathroom . I phoned Checkmate wildlife and spoke with Louis. His next available appointment was the next day. when I told Louis Im frighten and my 3 year old granddaughter would be home soon he dropped everything and came right away. I was so happy to see him.
He was very polite after he got the bat he walked through the house to see where it could have come in from. The he went outside to check for any openings. He found a few spaces . One of I knew,but didn't know how to close up. He came the next morning and closed everything up. He was very kind. He also told me if I have any more problems that he would come back right away any any time. I am very happy and pleased with his service. I thought his service was just to come and get the bat out of my home, so i was really happy about everything. I would definitely recommend Checkmate wildlife to everyone. Louis was amazing, kind, polite and very efficient !

Usually we ask customer to confined the bat (s) in a room with towels at bottom of door till we can arrive the next days ,but this was a different ,as your grand-daughter live in your house ,bats are a risk for health and mostly for young children if they get in contact with the saliva or get bitten from the bats .the bat was remove and brought to shade of hope a wildlife refuges as the weather was not warm enough for releasing this little boy!( small brown bat)
Ours gold is to satisfy each and every customer the way they deserved , with a lots of respect.nobody should pay for poor quality work and not being treated properly ...we guareented our customers satisfaction and work

They did a very professional job and were very tidy. They quoted us much lower than the previous company we had in. They didn't try to upsell me and even showed us a few ways we could prevent further damage.

Raccoon removal

I really liked the way Louis removed a big female raccoon from our attic very quickly. He also made sure that there were no other entrances for animals and other possible entrances were sealed properly. The animals do cooperate when they are treated with respect. (Or when people understand their language and culture). Amazing job!

Louis came and removed a Squirrel and five babies from the space behind our fireplace. He also repaired the chimney cap so there was no access to the fireplace via the chimney.

I contacted two companies to request removal of raccoons under my front verandah. A-! Checkmate's estimate was $300 less than the quote from another company.
The person who did the work was very professional, explained every detail, and arrived promptly to complete the work. He did a terrific job, cleaned up any mess, and promised to guarantee the work. We are very pleased with his work and appreciate the explanation. He even reduced his quote by $100 upon completion!!
I would definitely recommend this company.

Twice I called this company for different reasons and they were fantastic both times. Louie was very thorough and respectful of the building when he carefully searched for 2 baby red squirrels. Another time I called because we were concerned about a skunk we saw at odd times of the day. Louie was knowledgeable and reliable when asked to come and check for a number of days in a row.

Racoon inspection within the attic space. Installed wire mesh in the attic in between dwellings to prevent Racoon from entering to our space. Excellent job. I will totally recommend this guy.

We will do anything to prevent our customer to have more issue with wildlife , working on townhouse sometime can be difficult as some neighbour will not do preventive work so in that case we will the space between the 2 units where fire wall is to prevent animal to use your neighbour side to get back in your attic

When we called A1 Checkmate Wildlife Removal (to remove a snake found in my mother's unit), we had no idea what to expect and do in this situation. The person who answered was friendly, professional and informative - this was the same experience we had when he arrived to retrieve the snake. He was also considerate in checking for holes in the walls where the snake may have originated from and filling them in. Overall the service was good, the professional arrived promptly, was calm and took the snake away humanely as possible. If this should happen again, I would call them again.
