Courteous, dedicated, and qualified. Reasonably priced as well. Mr. Armstrong and his assistant went at their job with diligence, application, and intelligence. The windows were installed. The outside wall was restored. Job well-done! Thanks.

It is crazy some fly by night company wanted to charge you $3000 to fix your parging. We supplied/installed a living room, dining room window, and fixed the parging for $3500. Glad you went with us!

Exterior renovation

Bruce and his crew did a fantastic job on our renovation. Bruce has a lot of experience that shows in the high quality of work that he does. When discussing the project he understood immediately what we wanted and how to best achieve the result. He was well aware of the challenges that he would encounter working on an older house and there were no "surprises" during the project. I couldn't be happier with the work that Tip Top Exteriors has done for us.

Company Response: Hi Doug, thank you for the excellent review. I am glad you like the quality of our work. I have been doing windows, doors and exteriors so long that it has become second nature to me as how the house works and what our customers are looking for. Yes every neighborhood is a little different. I have installed probably on every street in Calgary, so I can pick up and notice the challenges and be ready for them.
I do not like surprises, that is why I scan walls for wires, do the call before we dig(on egress), take loads of pictures and double measure. We do not have 1 miss measured window in our shop. We are window wise certified installers. You will deal with an installer with us. NO SALESMAN!!
Our crews are all employees paid by the hour. We sub contract nothing out. We have control of our guys(paid by the hour) and they are expected to take their time, and do it right the first time, and do it to our standards! We are lucky that we have a bunch of good guys that take care of our company. But every job is inspected! I am also on every job first thing in the morning to give direction so our guys know exactly what our customers expect. We set our guys up for success!

Bruce and his team are awesome.
Great customer service, honest, hardworking and diligent in making sure the details are done right.
I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.
Bruce quoted a fair price and fully explained the installation process. He was prompt in answering emails and texts, kept me updated on delivery, ensured the house was left clean after a smooth installation and strove to sort out any issues to my complete satisfaction in a timely manner.
Seriously, you couldn't ask for more.

installing large basement windows and putting on new front door

Bruce and his staff did a great job installing new basement windows which have completely changed the feel of our basement. The area is now far brighter and more wide open and we have already used it because of this far more in the past 2 weeks than we had in the previous 2 years. The workmanship was immaculate and despite it being a very large project it was done extremely quickly with no negative impact on lawn or surroundings.

New Front door also completely changed the appearance of our house for the better.

Overall very very happy with the work and product!

Two new basement egress windows

Aptly named, I would happily recommend this Tip Top company to anyone looking for new windows!

Three growing boys into two bedrooms = get your basement windows enlarged.
After shopping around for several quotes, and seeing other reviews on Homestars we decided to go with Tip Top.

Bruce and his team are really nice, this is a good honest business that does exactly what they say they will do.
Holes dug + concrete cut + windows installed + inside and outside finished + all debris removed = One happy customer!

The work the guys did is fantastic and the results are even better than we hoped for. The City permit inspection was passed in less than 10 mins!

My real problem now is that the work was so good my wife wants Bruce to install some windows in our living room too LOL!

I'll post some better photos later, but hopefully these show the great work that was done.
