Air Duct Sealing

Our front bedroom was always cold during the winter, and hot during the summer and the reverse was true of our basement. After Tibo and Joe finished their work, my wife and I felt a change in the heating balance throughout the house. The improved air flow from the vents was evident immediately. There was a 96% reduction in air duct leakage. Our heating and cooling capacity improved by 22%. We couldn't be happier. We look forward to seeing a lessening of our household costs for natural gas and electricity consumption.
We highly recommend Aeroseal GTA. They were courteous, efficient, tidy and professional.

Aeroseal for the house

Our bedrooms were always cold during the winter, and warm during the summer. After Tibo and his crew finished their work, my wife and I instantly felt balance in the house. Even temperatures throughout. And, for the first time, we can feel the cool/hot air three feet from the vent. Before, we could barely feel any hot or cold air from the upstairs bedrooms. We couldn't be happier.
We highly recommend Tibo and his crew. They were courteous, efficient, and professional.

FIx uncomfortable rooms,

Once the work was completed, this brought so much more air conditioning to our upstairs bedrooms, we had been complaining to the builder of the house that our upstairs was so very hot all the time, even though we had installed several ceiling fans. Our rooms are so comfortable during the high temperatures we have had this summer. It has even helped with my wife's menopausal hot flashes. There was no mess and you could feel the results in a matter of hours. I should have done this when we first bought the house. Many thanks to aeroseal it is awesome.

Mr. Cooke, it was a pleasure to service your beautiful new home. If it had been within your Tarion warranty period, it is possible the builder would have covered the cost. Thank you again for your business.

Money Well Spent

I have a house that was built in 1956 and i bought it in 2008. since the very first day in the summer the 3rd floor was not getting enough cold and basement was too cold and in the winter was the opposite upstairs was cold and basement was hot. i looked into it and every contractor told me its an older home and it will cost you tons of money, you have to open the walls to find out were it is that leaking. my friends they said that's normal all the houses are like that!!!! today i will tell them people that is not the way it suppose to be there is a solution for this problem.
Joe and Tibo came to my house first thing Joe discovered that the person that did my A/C he didn't connect it Properly so i am loosing a lot of air right at the beginning of the way he patiently and neatly fixed and seal every single joint around my furnace. then he did his test and he realized that there is a big loss somewhere he started opening little boxes and sent his camera into my ducts to find the problems and he did i had 3 opening almost 8 by 10 i couldn't imagine all these years how much energy i wasted :( but thanks to Tibo and Joe they fixed all those openings in my air ducts and they did it so nicely that all i need to do is to put a vent as a decor!!! they re started their test again and the sealing process started doing it's job and once it was done i went on the third floor and i could feel lots of airflow coming out of the vents. I am so excited that it got fixed, Joe and Tibo are great and very friendly, neat contractors. they were fair when charging for those 4 openings that i had. i love how they pay attention to details and do a proper job. definitely recommend them.
thank you Joe and Tibo.

Lili, we hope that your tenant in the basement will no longer be opening the windows this winter to cool off!

Worth every penny

I was initially skeptical when I heard about this service but after doing some research, I discovered the US department of Energy recommends this method as the only way to seal ducts hidden behind walls and ceilings that can't be manually sealed. This company was great. Joe and his team were neat, efficient, friendly, and incredibly thorough. To my surprise, Joe went far above and beyond the scope of the job to fix problems by hand and identify furnace issues that had nothing to do with the actual job I contracted for, all for no additional charge. Now my ducts are running 20% more efficient, more than 90% of the leaks have been sealed, and I'm finally getting heating and cooling to rooms that were previously either ice cold or blisteringly hot. I highly recommend these guys!

Duct sealing

Thanks to the guys at Aeroeal GTA our home is finally being heated properly. Joe and his crew arrived on time, took great care in setting up their work area. After the initial testing of our duct system, we were running at a 23% loss of heating energy throughout the house leaking in all kinds of places threw out the ducts. By the time they were done we are now running at 2% loss. A significant improvement, very happy to have them work in our home.

Duct Sealing

I went into the Fall Home Show looking for solutions to make my sunroom more efficient. Part of the issue was the airflow coming out of the 4 ducts in the room. The concept of sealing the ducts had crossed my mind, so Aeroseal GTA's booth caught our attention. This is where we met Joe.

From the initial chat I could tell that Joe was not a salesman - he knew everything about the product - from the installation to the physics involved, he was able to answer all of our many questions, and he was incredibly professional. Without much hesitation, we called Joe back a few days later and booked an appointment.

On the day of the appointment, Joe and Brad showed up on time with a smile and immediately got to it. I actually enjoyed having them in the house - they explained everything that was happening, and upon inspecting the duct work and our situation, they set reasonable expectations. Joe was able to assess everything from the position of the ducts to the condition of the furnace.

I felt no hesitation in having them go throughout the house to prepare each duct for the procedure. They were neat and courteous. They put protection down for all finished areas (I have a finished basement).

When the sealing started, we immediately saw one of our major problems: we had 700+ CFM of leakage. After a few minutes, the product began to speak for itself - we noticed a dramatic decline in the lost CFMs (their software tracks this in real time). Less than an hour later, they had reduced the leakage to 59 CFMs. All throughout the process, Joe and Brad were a pleasure to be around - they even helped out with some related tasks my basement contractor failed to finish, and the time just flew.

I immediately noticed the result in my better-performing ducts. The toilet paper test on their website is true!

As for the sunroom, two of the ducts showed major gains. For the other two, the airflow isn't where I'd like it to be, but it is an improvement over what it was before: practically non-existent.

I was *very* pleased with the overall result, and I truly believe we can feel the difference already!

The true test will be what happens in the middle of the winter, but I feel better knowing we did this - that was a 90%+ reduction in leakage, and well worth every penny.

Thank you Aeroseal GTA for all of your help!

Duct Sealing

Worth every penny. Prior to getting ducts sealed, was getting very weak airflow to all upstairs bedrooms. In summer lower levels were freezing, upper levels stifling, running AC almost 24/7. After getting ducts sealed, can hear and feel the air BLASTING out of all the upper level ducts. Temperatures are now even throughout the whole house, and the air condition needs to run only a fraction of the time it did before. Wish I had known about this sooner!!

Duct Sealing

We heard the Aeroseal process 2 years ago but thought it was a gimmick and was unsure it really worked. As we visited the Homeshow in March 2015, we ran into Aeroseal GTA. Their display clearly showed the outcome of the process. We were sold. Joe, Tibo and Brad showed up promptly on the agreed date. They explained more thoroughly the steps involved in and during the process. They even did some duct work which was an extra. They were thorough, efficient, cleaned up and presented themselves professionally. In addition, the process clearly showed the improvement in the duct efficiency and we were impressed. To date, some 2 months later, the air conditioning seems to be more effective in cooling our homes. Can’t wait to see the difference this heating season. We would highly recommend this team.

Service, Product

The crew was very courteous, considerate, and professional right from the start. They were respectful of my home, ensuring they rolled out the plastic drops for floors and even covered our high end electronics so it wouldn't get damaged.

The work is simply amazing. Our duct was leaking 29.2% prior to any work done and after they sealed it the leakage dropped to only 2%. It's incredible how much warmer the house feels! The guys even took the time to thoroughly answer all the questions I had. I even snuck in a few questions not related to aeroseal and they were more than happy to give me tips and advice. These guys are genuinely nice very knowledgeable when it comes to homes. I would definitely recommend these guys to others.

The money was very well spent and totally worth it! Thanks guys!
