Of all the contractors that provided us an estimate for the reno work we picked Scott. Although he was not the cheapest price, he was the most honest and upfront about the work. He was patient. He was always available and always on-time. He always gave options and provided the pros and cons of each and allowed us to make decisions. The team was professional and courteous. The work was excellent and above our expectations, we are very happy with all the work they did. Thanks guys!

Scott and his team were retained by Insurance co 's choice of disaster restoration company. Honesty and good work were the bywords. It did take quite a while to pull it all together but we never felt that we were being forgotten. The work was good and loose ends were taken care of, and overall we were happy. Scott is a good man to have taking care of what you value.

We continue, and will continue to work with A Step Above General Contracting because they understand our needs as home owners and execute them in a timely, professional manner and always within budget.

We were involved in all key decisions points without fail and in the end we got exactly what we wanted. We brought them back for three separate jobs and in all cases were happy with the results.
