Vinyl City really helped me with my basement windows. I had a huge windows leak from all these Ontario rains. They saved my basement and installed new windows promptly and professionally.

I am traveling and always delayed to leave a review for this great company. I have finally time to do it today. Vinyl City team did an excellent job on my windows and front door for my house in Richmond Hill that I rent out. They accommodated my special request around trim and let me paint it myself in advance. They answered all my questions, and there were many! They were professional and quick during the installation and cleaned up well after. Their follow up was great as well. I would definitely recommend them. I've had the windows and doors in now for 3 months and I’m very satisfied.

I had 2 window installation jobs and picked Vinyl City for it because the quote was just a few dollars less than the competitors. BIG MISTAKE! For the first job, they got one window size wrong, took out my old window and cant install the new one. Left a BIG HOLE on the side of my house for almost 2 weeks while they went to re-order. with no apologies at all! if it wasn't for me calling them to get the last window installed soon for security reasons, they would have take over a month of time according to them.
At that time, i have paid for my deposit for second job already so no back out. For second job, the quote they give me were based on measurements MUCH LARGER than the actual window. For example, two windows they measured 60"x60", but actually were only 56"x57"! off by 3 square feet each! Then they charged me based on their measurements hoping i wouldn't notice. When I later measured myself and realized the difference. I called them to point out their trick, and what bad attitude they gave me! In the end they credited me $180 for their mistakes, but who knows how many other people they tricked with this technique.
Never install with them again. potential customers, BE WARE!

Update: They actually contacted HomeStars team saying I was not a customer after seeing this review and tries to get it removed. How shameful. After providing Home Star review team all the evidences of invoice and payments to them, this review is back up. Thank you Homestars team for standing up for consumers.

I was having a surprise party for my Mom for her 60th birthday and decided (at the last minute) that I needed to have a large window replaced in my living room. As the party was less than a week away, Vinyl City salesperson Serge was very honest about the timing but worked like heck to get it done in time. In the end he called in a favor, ordered the custom window and picked it up (rather than waiting for delivery) in order to complete the install the day before my guests began arriving. The installation team was incredible. While removing the old window they accidentally knocked the siding...I probably would not have noticed. They patched it for the party and then came back and replaced the entire piece the next week. Well above anything I could have expected! Thank you Vinyl City Windows and Doors.

I was a bit contentions to hire the Vinyl City Windows and Doors, based on some of the reviews here, but they just finished replacing all the windows in our house, and I must say, that's a job well done. The plan is have the guys back next year to replace all the doors. The crew that did the work was amazing, flexible and careful when worked inside the house. The office and crew worked around our schedule to setup the installation, we had no issues reaching out to sales and everyone in the office was helpful and friendly. They did an amazing work!

Fabulous work! Very clean, and time was accurate. We love the windows you installed. In the future I will introduce my friends and family members to this company and I'm sure we will be calling you again for further business In the future.

Signed contract with them on Sep 08. 2015, being promised a due date for Oct 20, 2015, $430 deposit paid, and we waited until 2 days before the due day, they called and saying that they're not going to do it anymore, tell us to find else where, they couldn't give any reasons that why they wasted us 1 and half month to determine that they don't want to do job anymore. But what made this company horrible is we tried to get our deposit back, took them 3 weeks to dodge us, called them numerous of times, always gave us the manager is not here in the store crap, physically visited them twice, same story. Today I called them again, what they're telling us is that they don't have record for the money they have collected from us, they wanted us to prove to them the money is paid, and they were saying that "you could come into our store and paid the money to any customer in our store, how do we know that you paid us?" We already found it to be frustrated for them not getting anything done on time, but right now we have to deal with their shameless non sense stuff. Really, I haven't personally dealt with any companies this shameless, please don't waste your money and your precious time on this company.
