We recently had a large event at our home and I noticed one of the receptacles was not working in our backyard. I contacted Hugh and he not only got to the root of the problem, but he took the time to explain everything to me so I understood how to rectify it in the future. His attention to detail, professionalism and generally sincere personality is something I really appreciate in a contractor. Just before the party started, the lights went out while we were trying to plug in the popcorn machine, but bc Hugh took the time to explain what to do in that situation, I was able to easily fix it and we were all good.
Hugh also came to the rescue last winter when I was installing Christmas lights outside. He made my daughter's face smile when we were able to replace the receptacle in the front and get them working. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical work. Thanks Hugh!

Our interior designer recommended Hugh to install pot lights, rewire and move existing fixtures, conceal our home theatre cables behind a wall, and mount our new TV. Of all the contractors we have ever dealt with during our home reno, Hugh was our favorite. He was always on time, professional, courteous and tidy. The pot light installation was perfect and all other work was completed with care and precision. What I couldn't believe was how clean our home was when he finished, even though he was patching up drywall and sanding. He always treated my home like it was his own. A year later, we had water leaking from our roof that was exiting through a fire alarm device. Hugh came out the next day to inspect the electrical and make sure everything was safe. He didn't even charge us for the visit! We have been very happy with Hugh's responsiveness, attention to detail, professionalism and honesty. I will only ever recommend Hugh for all things electrical!

We hired Hugh because he is extremely diligent and skilled but also has an eye for the aesthetic. He installed 16 pot lights, two pendant lights, under cabinet lighting, all wiring, switches and outlets in my kitchen as part of an overall kitchen renovation we did in 2012. His eye for design was hugely important as he was able to envision the end look better than we could.
