Contacted A Smart Roof. Alan came to survey our roof & did some patch work as roof was in rough shape. Alan was quick to send a quote, the prices were very fair. A timeline was established and the company was in contact to advise the timeline needed to be adjusted but gave a lot of notice. Work was completed on time, they did a great job and cleaned up the job site well too. Very happy with the service provided. Would definitely recommend to others.

We had a cracked ceiling which leaked. We realized that the roof needed to be replaced. I got quotes from $1600 to $5000. Eventually contacted Caroline who was very responsive and arranged for Alan to come take a look. He was very genuine, soft spoken, took a good look at the roof and advised us, with no sales pitch, but like a friend. Their quote came in in the middle, including a front porch. Because of the leak they were able to rearrange their schedule to accommodate us sooner. They came on time, did the job professionally, cleaned up, and explained everything they did, not rushing. The bin was picked up the next day as promised. You really feel like you're their only customer. Neighbours came by and commented how they did a very good job and how nice it looks. We are very pleased with Caroline, Alan, and crew, and highly recommend ASmartroofltd...if you want the job done properly and with people who care, and reasonably priced.

From start to end, Caroline and Alan and his team were professional, punctual, very customer focused. They provided a timely and competitive quote, assisted in shingle colour selection, and set a date that was not missed. From the time the bin and shingles were delivered in the morning, to the time the bin was picked up that afternoon, it was like watching a well oiled machine. And the after job clean-up was excellent. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Al and his team to anyone needing their roof done. His quote was very competitive. He and his team were punctual and professional and they did a great job cleaning up after the job was done. It took us a year to decide which shingles we wanted and what colour. Al was extremely patient with us. He never pressured us once and he always wanted to ensure we were happy with our decision. He brought over multiple samples to look at, even taking them up on the roof to look at. Thank you Al! We love our new roof!

Al and Caroline were execellent. They went into details with me and Caroline helped to pick up selection of colours that would appeal our house.Al and his crew were on time and did a professional work in a timely manner.They made sure no damage was done to the property and

Al and Caroline have taken care of our family homes in Whitby for years. The pricing is fair and they take the time to understand what you want in detail, and more importantly deliver on it.

We contacted A Smart Roof as we had a leak in our bathroom ceiling. Al came to trouble shoot, and let us know our roof was in great shape but there were a few spots with nails missing so hard to tell. He did a repair, then returned again and went in the attic to further investigate. The leak stopped, with minimal cost. We appreciate the thoroughness and low cost when not needed. We will definetly us A Smart Roof in the future when needed!

Not only did they have the best quote but Caroline was the best in terms of contacting me and keeping me informed throughout the process. Arrived as expected with a large crew that worked very hard to complete the job in a single day. The bin and shingles arrived in the morning and the bin was removed early the next morning. Allan & Caroline were very easy to work with and the project was completed quickly and all mess cleaned up.

Exceptional service before, during, and after roof was reshingled. Meticulous workmanship and respectful of our property and time. Provided a very competitive quote including all the things required, rather than offering “options” which are necessities for a proper job. Provided a firm quote and that’s what was paid. Started and completed as per the pre-defined schedule (rain notwithstanding) and left the entire property as it was before they started. Caroline was critical in helping us choose the colour and kept us abreast of everything before and during the work. Al and his team were exceptional in their work and provided a level of expertise and honesty rarely experienced in this industry; have done this 3 times previously and they were NOT good experiences.
