Cambridge Windows & Doors

Cambridge did not do the cut outs in the doors correctly. None of our locks lined up or the roller catches the Company provided. Cambridge took no accountability for their work and did nothing to find a solution. We had to pay our carpenter thousands extra to fix the cut outs and re paint and reinstall all our doors. Harleen didn't even return my many calls. She is always on vacation and even when she is in the office she just ignores you.

I got all my windows replaced by Cambridge spring/summer 2016 and now one year later one of my windows has cracked, just randomly cracked overnight. Have been trying to contact the company for over a month about warrenty and getting it fixed and they WON'T answer any phones. Not happy customer.

Nov. 2015 I made a deal with Cambridge Windows and Doors and Slava to replace all the windows in my house. Windows were installed Feb. 2016 and were triple glaze windows and would be energy efficient. I have had nothing but problems with these windows since they were installed. The glass on two of the windows were scratched. One was replaced, the other was not as they had brought a window that was too small. The seal on all the windows are leaking and was told to send in a picture of the window which I did. Called on June 15 2016 talked to Max, talked to Ksenia July 11, 2016. Nov.28 2016 I received a reply from Cambridge Windows and was told they would give Slava the picture and information and would remind him again about the glass . Never heard from him until I called him early this spring 2017. He said it was to cold out and call when it got warmer out. He has made no effort to get in touch with me in regards to these issues. I called Slava Sept.12, 2017. He said he was to busy and to call on Sept.15, 2017. He had a message that said he was unavailable. I have called numerous times to no avail. The house is in the country and we were getting a lot of flies on the windows and the floors. I discovered they were coming in from behind the window casings as Slava and his crew did such a poor job on the installation of the windows and were too stingy to use enough spray foam to fill the open cavities around the windows. That is where the flies and the cold was coming from. I have just finished removing the casings from all my windows and re spray foamed them all as they were all deficient in insulation. This has been a nightmare for us. We are elderley and the stress of having to deal with this situation has been very hard on us. I would never ever recommend Cambridge Windows of Edmonton to anyone.

Two years ago I had all the windows replaced in my home for $10,000 by Cambridge. It took 2 days and the installers damaged my walls, window trim and never even cleaned the windows. I had to make a poor review & complaint for them to come back. Once they did they cleaned the windows and used dap to try to fix the trim, which came off a week later. Whatever they used to to seal the windows leaked out about 2 months later and ran down my walls, which has wrecked my paint. If you use inexperienced installers for your company, this is what you get for service. Since I had to call many times to get them to the house the first time with shotty work, I haven't called them a second time as I feel they will be more trouble than it's worth.

Hi my name is Jeff. I'm wondering if any one would like to join me on a law suit against Cambridge Manufacturing. My window is leaking badly I have been calling my self many of times no call backs either. I spent 18,000. on my install. please for anyone thinking of windows don't use this company. Once they get there money they don't care about you. I want to get my money back. please anyone who wants to join me. please reply back to me on home stars.

Had Kurt come out & sell us the windows,Slavia & crew put temperature in ,very good job,We have issues with them all icing up by the latch,been phoning since December for warranty work .Now nobody knows where or what is happening & won't even return my calls.Very disappointed

Just to clarify ... this score reflects on the contractors who were hired for the installation of the windows ... not on the manufacturing of the product.
We had hired Cambridge windows to replace 6 old windows. The style/type/glass and casing had all been agreed upon with the sales rep. When the windows were installed, one of the them had the incorrect glass (clear instead of frosted) and all of the casing was not as had been agreed upon.
It has taken 6 months, about 20 phone calls and emails, withholding payments and 5 visits by installers to finally get the windows done. To top it all off, when the installers finally turned up to replace the window casing, they arrived with no materials and said they would use product that I had in my basement for another project (I had mentioned this as an option back at their first visit, hoping that I could get it replaced immediately)
I sent an invoice to the company to cover the cost of replacing the product they used, as well as all of the extra days I had to take off work to finally have the work completed.
The manager's initial reply was that he wouldn't pay for anything. He eventually changed it to only paying for replacing my product. He didn't even want to cover the cost of having the product delivered to my house.
They would not cover any lost work time hours.

I feel sorry for the production side of the company. Apart from the initial incorrect glass issue, the windows themselves are exactly as promised.

The installation company they use are horrendous!!

I used Cambridge in the past had no issues.

Recently I had phoned them twice for an inquiry about a window replacement, and each time was told a rep will get incontact with me...and no one has. It is an origional window and its very frusterating when no one has called me back, as the window is pretty much being held together by gun tape.

The service and installation was amazing. Never did this before so for a new experience everything turn out just great. LOVE MY NEW WINDOWS. Thank you Cambridge Windows and Mgf.

I recently hired this company to replace all of my windows and doors. The windows were installed very well, I am extremely pleased with the new bay window! My dogs love it also. The install was timely and workmanship was second to none. Everyone was exceptional to deal with from sales to install.
