I hired Robert for snow removal for the season and initially felt I was dealing with a professional in the field. After signing a contract and providing 5 post-dated cheque’s he never came once to clear my driveway or walkway. I was told he cleared the snow once before the beginning of the contract ( which is true ) and that he ‘didn’t have to do that’. I explained that even though I am grateful I wanted to make sure he understood what I was looking for in terms of service. We had to pay another complaint to clear the snow on two separate occasions because of his lack of preparation. He can’t take direction well and always kept my husband and me in the dark . Never answered our phone calls or kept us posted if running late. Usually snow should be cleared so people can go to work in the mornings, of course setbacks happen but keep your customers posted instead of making them feel stupid. I am 9 months pregnant and my husband works over 10 hours a day 7 days a week. We hired Robert to not have to worry about being snowed in and having to trek through a snowy mess incase we need to leave for the hospital. After several attempts to get a hold of him my husband and I decided to look elsewhere for a more professional worker. I would be completely ashamed of myself if I were operating a ‘business’ in this fashion.
