Legacy Windows & Doors

We were very happy with the product and service provided by Legacy Windows. We did a major Reno and needed a full replacement of all of our home's windows, as well as two patio doors, a new French door, and a new front door. Legacy Windows is an ethical, reliable business. They also worked hard and creatively to make our dream front door design (which was a non-standard size) a reality. They addressed any minor issues that arose, promptly and courteously. We highly recommend them.

We are extremly happy with the end result and the Legacy Team with what they did. We did not know that replacing windows was going to be be quite the process, but thanks to the Legacy Team , they guided us through the process and provided us with options to achieve the end result that we are very happy with.
The installation team also deserves a lot of the credit as well. They showed up when they said they would and on time and literally worked until the job was done. They treated our home like it was their home and took care to protect the floor and furniture where the work was being done. When they were done they made sure everything was cleaned up prior to leaving for the day.
Our experience from start to finish with Legacy Windows and Doors has been excellant and we would not hesitate to recommend them for window or door replacements.

We had eight windows replaced by Legacy Windows and had an excellent experience. They advised us on the best type of windows for our house, which also qualified for a government rebate. The windows were installed at the upper storey of our house in a safe and efficient way, without scaffolding or the use of a cherry picker, therefore reducing the cost of the project. They also connected us with a very good painting contractor to complete the drywall and paint touch-ups required after the installation.

When you feel you have been treated with utmost respect and integrity and transparency on behalf of a company! We can say this about Legacy Windows from the start to the finish! I attach words like Joy or Thankfulness to our experience. It felt like to have become a part of the Legacy Window family.

Legacy replaced all the windows in our house in 2021 and they did a great job. So we asked them to come back and remove a bifold door and install a window. They did a great job on both of the projects. Their staff was respectful and did good work. They cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day.

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Legacy Windows to anyone looking for a window company. They are easy to work with and do a good job. I always appreciate finding an honest company to work with.

We had an awesome experience with Legacy Doors. They did a great job installing our entry, garage, and patio doors on time, and everyone was super professional. Bert, the person who helped us, was patient and explained all the various options to available to us. It made choosing the right doors much easier. Overall, Legacy Doors did a fantastic job, and we highly recommend them for their great service and dependability.

Legacy replaced all of the windows in our house, which included re-sizing several of them. They also replaced the rear patio door and installed new exterior double doors in our dining room wall. We chose Legacy over a couple of other companies because they were able to provide the product we wanted and at the best price. Their approach was low key and they were very informative and involved in helping us make the right decisions. The work was done on time by a highly professional crew and the results are first -rate. The communication was excellent and we were kept informed throughout the process. We would give them our highest recommendation.

We installed windows we spec'ed and purchased from Legacy for a new cabin, and all dimensions and specifications of the windows provided were correct and the windows easy to install. The site location is on the waterfront on Hornby Island and the windows are exposed to very strong storms. During a winter storm last year the largest window (a double slider with middle fixed pane) leaked. The Legacy team sent a technician up to fix the leak (no cost to us). The significance of this is the site is three ferries and six hours of travel each way - that is pretty impressive service, and to top it off they delivered an additional window for our separate sauna building that we purchased later (delivery free of charge) while they were making the warranty call which was greatly appreciated as it saved us having to pick the additional window up and transport it to site.
