I can't recommend John and his team enough. They were very prompt in coming to our house to see the job, and John very quickly and confidently identified what work should be done, after we had already had 3 other people from different companies take a look and not settle on a confident solution. The work was efficient, courteous, clean and with open and clear communication at all times. All employees at Wal-Tech were so friendly and helpful at every step of the process, and had been nothing but accommodating even when special requests were made. If you have any issues that Wal-Tech can solve, they will do the best job you could imagine. 10/10 stars every day of the week.

When I noticed water seeping through the floorboards in my basement I emailed WalTech. John responded within the hour and was out that same day to inspect. He discovered a crack in the foundation and provided a very reasonable estimate.

The repair was completed in a timely manner. The crew was efficient, friendly and cleaned completely despite it being an extremely muddy area.

The final charge was the exact estimate.

We had an impossible task, to have a dry basement in Old South!
Our home was even more difficult do to the stone rubble foundation without any footings for todays standards.

And we were completely open when a storm of the century flooded many Old South homes. John, Kevin, Rob and the rest of the crews did not complain as they were stuck in the mud trying to save and restore the stone wall.

The good news is that our basement is dry!

John and his crew were professional, efficient and friendly. They performed a partial foundation replacement in a difficult location. They ran on schedule, on time and finished the high-quality job when they said they would. It's a first-class company and we would not hesitate to use them again.

Contacted John at Waltech following a referral from a trusted advisor in the construction industry. John promptly came out to inspect a leaking crack in our basement foundation, provided his assessment as to cause and severity, thoroughly explained the repair process and provided a quote. John and his team arrived on time on the agreed upon date and completed the job promptly. Tim explained what he was doing, how he was doing it and why that way which provided us with much comfort the team knew what they were doing. The team was very organized and left the job site clean.

At my request we also investigated installing a backwater valve for additional assurance against flooding from the city sewer but we collectively agreed it wouldn't be worthwhile considering we were in a low risk area and installation would have required partially destroying and remodeling the adjacent basement bathroom to provide sufficient space for installation. Being a retired professional engineer and former project manager I was thoroughly pleased with the 2-way discussion of options, risks, variables and costs involved and the final outcome.

John at Waltech and his crew did a fantastic job repairing the crack in my foundation. They were very prompt and professional and explained the process they were going to use to seal the crack. The leak was a constant worry and everytime it rained I worried about water in my basement. I have a finished rec room so the matter was very serious. John repaired two other cracks in my foundation over 20 years ago and neither one of those cracks ever leaked again. I would absolutely recommend Waltech for any leaking/drainage issues.

John was incredible to deal with. I had several companies quote my basement improvement but they wouldn’t have added anything but a larger amount to my bill. . I had to explain to other companies what was going on with my basement; however, John was knowledgeable and experienced and came right in and told me exactly what was happening and how he could help. He showed up on time, was extremely kind, and his quote was fair. Johns crew was efficient, friendly, and kept our house clean and job site tidy. John went above and beyond my expectations by insisting he bring in a company to push a camera through our sump discharge and later rerouted it to ensure that would not be a future issue. John reminded my of my best friends dad who built a company on knowledge, hard work, and great customer service. He took the time to drive all the way back out to my house to explain how everything works, how to keep things clean and clear, and has answered many follow up questions I had about things that had almost nothing to do with the job he completed but he still took the time to provide his knowledge to me because he simply cares and is not just out to make money at every corner he can. I have no issues with leaving a great review for John because he was a pleasant reminder that there are still great people and companies out there that care as much about your house as you do.

John and his team at Wal-tech are exceptional. When we started having water enter our basement, I made a call to another basement leak company and they gave me the run around saying it was a ton of work and would cost a lot of money. John and his team came highly recommended to me from a friend. I made the call, and John came out to look at the damage. He was very quick to determine the cause and the solution. His price was 1/4 of the previous company and he said they could have it done that day. Within a couple of hours, everything was completely done and cleaned up. The crack was actively leaking at the time of the fix, and we have had a lot of rain over the last week and we still do not have any water in our basement. Thank you John and Wal-tech.
