Trough Doctor

Roughly a year ago I had the Trough Doctor change all of my old troughs. I was extremely happy with the job.

However, just recently I noticed that on on side of the house I had water accumulating around my foundation due to water running behind the gutter. Maybe it had something to due to ice buildup during the winter?

In any case, I text'ed Jim on the weekend to see if he could assist. He promptly responded and his crew showed that same Sunday, 1/2 hr later.

They had the job completed in under 15 min.

I had Jim come and do our Eavestroughs and called him back to do our roof work on a small leak. They are very professional and did an amazing job. They are very knowledgable and they follow up on their work. Definetly would recommend.

The customer service and new eaves trough installation I received from The Trough Doctor met every expectations. I am already recommending the company to others who need the service.
I am hoping to have them install new roof shingles too!

Awesome service and installation. Our eaves trough on one side of the house would overflow like a waterfall causing our bay window to leak horribly during a heavy rainfall. We called Jim and asked to have the eave trough checked and to install a second downspout to ease the flow. The price was fair and Jim suggested to get it done before the rain that was due in a few days. His crew were very pleasant and friendly. The work was done thoroughly no mess just a great job! Job done before the rain. Thank you so much Jim and crew!

If you want a company who does great, neat work, this is it. I saw them doing work for a neighbour and got a quote. Quote was mid range, but, I honestly believe the work they did was worth more. I get a lot of comments from neighbours on the quality of their work. Great experience from start to finish!

Our eaves were in terrible shape and we had "waterfalls" in various spots around our home. Jim provided us with a really reasonable quote and completed the job quickly. He had great ideas for re-routing downspouts without taking away from the aesthetic look of our home. We would highly recommend Trough Doctor!

We resurfaced the outside of our home in stucco and wanted to replace the downspouts with something more subtle. Jim came right away, offered a ton of choices in colour, recommended re-routing some of the downspouts and increasing the diameter on one side of the house to better manage water flow. The larger pipe was spray-painted to match the other standard size/colour pipes. Looks great! We would highly recommend Jim's work.

Jim Hampson installed complete new eavestroughs ,downspouts, and lifeguard on our home in 2009. Last winter we had a small water leak from the corner joint at the second floor roof, which created a dangerous ice patch at the base of our steps. The leak continued to the point when I called Jim if he could come to take a look and repair the leak. Jim came promptly this past December to check it out. His crew confirmed that the corner joint did in fact leak and he repaired the problem at no cost, five years after the original installation.
While on the roof, Jim and crew found a couple of spots where roof shingles had been torn away in a summer wind storm, and he fixed that also. Jim noted that the rubber gasket around two plumbing roof vents had deteriorated from UV exposure, to the point that tears and holes were allowing rain water to enter. Jim repaired these with new rubber vent pipe gaskets.
I was happy that Jim discovered the roof shingle and vent pipe issues and prevented some long term serious roof leaks.
I would happily endorse and recommend these guys to anyone. They are polite, friendly and honest people. Thank you again Jim.

I was not sure whether my eaves needed cleaning or replacing so I called five different companies for advice and quotes. Jim showed us where flaws existed and where we already had a leak we were unaware of. He gave us a great price, did the work promptly and he and Mike left the area spotless when they left. So if your eavestroughs need a flu shot, call the trough doctor.
