King and Sons Plumbing and Renovations - No Longer in Business

King and Sons has changed their name to All Tech Reno. Our experience is the same as everyone else who’s written a review. Their story hasn’t changed just the Company Name and location to Keswick. Wish I’d clued in before I hired them.

A basement reno that was never completed that was to take 4-6 weeks turned into months, hardly showed up. Could not account for material recipts of over 2000.00. Workers used poor language when they were there. Owner spoke in anger to my child when he was outside playing about myself. Took over 40, 000 of my money and cannot account, some work got done but not properly. Owner Jason does not even have license I found out and if he does its not updated. When I asked to sit down after almost 3 months to go over recipts he became angry, in fact I had to shut my cell phone off as he was sending so many crazy messages. Design in basement was not what I wanted and when another plumber came in who was qualified he stated that shower and toilet were all placed in the wrong spot. Be ware and do your research, I thought this person knew what they were doing, one day he told me he had no gas to get to work ..... Un reliable and talked a good game but disaster in the end.

Our house was extremely outdated so we contacted King and Sons and spoke to Jason's wife who arranged a free estimate. We met with Jason and he was so knowledgeable and had so many different ideas and pictures for us to choose from, it was great. Jason even went with us to Home Depot to help us pick out materials to help ease the stress! so helpful. It was not easy to live without a working kitchen but the team was so helpful and making sure it was cleaned up everyday and worked around our schedule, so in the end, we are extremely satisfied, not only with the team but the craftsmanship! Definitely worth it and would recommend this company.

Absolutely horrible company! A most dishonest businessman !! He has a ton of excuses for not showing up to complete the work and then he completely avoids phone calls, text messages, gives you the run around, oh my God...I could go on and on! DO NOT HIRE JASON!! You will regret handing over your hard earned money! To top it all off, when I was begging him to come and finish off, he claimed that he did WAY MORE work than what was asked of him and he called me crazy and told me never to bother him again! His work is shabby, often times he had his wife coming in to do his work! What a nightmare!

Unreliable, unprofessional, bad quality with bad project & time management issues. I would not recommend Jason and I hope no one falls into his trap. He maybe able to offer competitive quote at first but he will corner you to get more and more money during the project. He abandoned the job after receiving all the payments in addition to money to purchase materials.

Completely unsatisfied with the professionalism and service provided by Jason who is the owner operator of King and Sons Plumbing and Renovation.

A four week basement renovation turned into an eight week renovation with no end in sight. Delays in the project were a direct result of the contractor and his crew (which consisted of one Iabourer) mostly from not showing up to the job site. Your typical horror story of a contractor showing up for one or two days and then disappearing for 2-3 days.

Jason the owner is notorious for excuses as to why he could not show up for work. When he would show up ....we were lucky to get 3-4 hours of work from him before he would have to leave. He would give us some excuse that even a 10 year old child would be smart enough not to believe.

Jason actually said to us midway thru the project and I quote "To be honest with you I have lost interest in finishing your basement" Shortly after indicating he lost interest he stopped showing up to the job site and as a result I told him I was done with him and his company.

Jason is the kind of contractor who does not show up to work because he is moving and has no employees that can continue to work on your project while he moves. So your project gets put on the back burner until Jason King feels like returning and he is done his move which took about 5 days.

I highly recommend you do not hire this company no matter what promises or price they give you. If your lucky they will work 3 maybe 4 hrs per day and maybe show up 3 days per week.

For those of you who are wondering if we had a contract in place ... Yes we did have one in place which again was not followed and in the end was a complete joke. I guess in the contract Jason should of added all the reasons he should be excused from showing up to work for example: pick up kid at bus stop, have to move, have to start another job, have to finish another job, have to take my kid to the doctor, I slipped and fell and hurt my hand, I'm sick, I'm not feeling good, My guys cant come to work cause their wives are pregnant etc etc etc

I would highly recommend this company. Not only was the owner always there but he helped me save money on other costs. He is very professional, kind hearted and did an amazing job! I love our new bathroom and cannot even find one flaw.
