I contacted Joe for an inspection of my furnace (only 2 years old) as it is the fall season and also to inspect my dehumidifier which is also attached to the furnace as I had noticed a dank smell in the basement. I need to mention that Joe was Not the original installer of either product and I did have some concerns as to how the original installation was done. I am glad that I had the inspection done as I found out the following: 1) that the dehumidifier was installed incorrectly, 2) that even though my furnace was a two stage furnace, it had been set up as a one stage furnace, 3) there wasn't enough ducting from the furnace to the vents to push the air throughout the house, 4) the slope on the exhaust pipes was incorrect 5) the shutoff valve for the gas supply was completely blocked.,6) the venting pipes on the roof didn't have the right cap on one and completely missing on the other therefor allowing rain water to flow done the pipes into the furnace room 7)and my dehumidifier was completely useless the way it was set up. The
cost for the inspection was $178 including taxes, and at my request Joe gave me an estimate to fix "everything". Financially, it would have made sense to call the original installation company to come and fix "it" however my confidence was completely shaken in the original company so I hired Joe to do all of the above work. The estimate and work came in at the same price of $1633 including taxes. When I phoned Joe to request the inspection I had to leave a message however he did call me back the same day and he was on time for both appointments. He also had covers for his work boots to protect my floors. I received before and after pictures of all of the issues. I also want to mention that the caps on the roof pipes did not blow off because I have pictures of the pipes from the original installation and they were never installed. As for my dehumidifier, he cleaned the filter (which I didn't know existed) and connected it properly to the furnace. As soon as he started it up, water started running out the exit drain and within 36 hours the dank smell disappeared. I am no so happy that my wallet is lighter, however I did get quality service and repairs and I got my monies worth. I just wished that I had used him the first time and had it "done right the first time". I will use Joe again in the future and I do recommend him.

My second time using this company, and once again, I was very satisfied with Joseph's professionalism and ability. Joseph rebuilt my toilet tank, which was leaking onto the ceiling below, providing photo evidence of the problem. Happy to recommend his services.

We had a gas tankless hot water heater installed in May by Vedder Residential. The service was exceptional right from the
beginning. The representative came to do the quote in the evening
after a long day of work, then the quote was done on the spot with a complete explanation of what needed to be done followed up by a written quote emailed to us. The work was completed in a timely manner. All the necessary paperwork for the rebate was delivered to us a few days later with as much of the forms completed as the installer could do. A few weeks later we contacted Vedder Residential via email with a concern we had, they responded immediately and came over promptly to come up with a solution. We will recommend and use Vedder residential without any hesitation in the future.

Joe provided fast, professional and complete service and saved my bacon. I had a townhouse listed for sale and when the home inspection report came in, the sump pump was not working. The work had to be done by Friday or the sale would fall through. Joe provided very fast, friendly and reasonably price service. He took photos when he arrived and sent them with a quote. I then approved everything via email as I live in Vancouver, not Hope where the unit was located. He completed the job quickly and sent me photos of the new pump and the invoice, which I then approved and paid for via email. No fuss, no muss. THANKS JOE. Woke up Monday morning with no Hot Water, had a new hot water tank installed by Monday night. That was far beyond my expectations. He presented a few options and did not try to up-sell beyond what I needed. The completed work is neat and very professional.
