Matt was a professional in every sense of the word! He was prompt and polite with communication and worked with my condo tenants to schedule a repair of my floating bathroom vanity (that wasn't "floating" so well anymore). Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Matt in person, my tenants spoke very highly of him and his work. I was able to inspect his work at a later time and it was exactly what I was hoping for and more! I would recommend Matt to anyone and hire him again.

Matt was, hands down, the best contractor / carpenter I have found in Vancouver. I'm actually a little hesitant to recommend him, because I know that I'll need his services in the future, and I don't want him to be too busy for me to hire him. By all means, if you are looking for someone friendly, reliable, and who produces good work, hire Matt. I felt like I could trust him completely to do work in my home when I wasn't there, and that everything would be great when I got back (and it was!).

Matt showed up on time, and was able to modify some cabinetry very skillfully. The results are great, and I'm very pleased with the service. Matt was also respectful of the space, and cleaned up after himself.

I contacted a few finisher carpenter's for quotes and Mat's company was priced right for the job we wanted completed. He and his partner were on time and completed the work when he promised and I was happy with the work and the railings look great and added value to our home.

I would call on Avalanche for future projects.

We hired Matt from Avalanche for instaling a solid core interior door which needed carpentry job as well. Matt was very timely, professional and clean working. He did an excellent job from resizing the door to onstallation. We will definitely hire him again.

We have recently had some work done by Matt and his team @ avalanche and have been thoroughly impressed with the way in which the team worked, communicated and conducted themselves. We had a custom stair rail and cabinet installed along with some other work which included a stair rail repair and some self closing hinges fitted to a basement door. All the work was carried out to exceptional standards and we found Matt to be personable and courteous throughout the whole process. He will be the first guy I call in the future for any skilled carpentery work.
