Poor service, impassable driveway, no response from company
1-Previously Appleseed was excellent. Now Metro promises good things but does not deliver. 3-4 inches of snow in driveway and on walk for days. 9-10 inch ice hump from sidewalk plow and repeated thaw-freeze with continued build-up, makes driveway impassable for cars. Even an SUV has difficulty and scrapes the undercarriage. Sent them pictures with a ruler showing depth, and not even a response to the email.
I do not expect it to be totally clear of snow, I do expect it to be passable.
2-Finally came, to do the whole street, their email said it was a courtesy service. (even though 4-5 inches in the driveway and now 12 inch hump).
. It reduced the hump slightly, the snowtractor just bounced over it.
A day later they still have not shovelled the walk, having promised it would be done yesterday.
They have most of the street, so it should be easy to keep up on.
Perhaps they will not have many sign up again for next year now that Metro with shoddy service, replaced Appleseed which had been excellent.
A waste of money.
3- The sidewalk plow was same day, followed by several other snowfalls, on later days without plowing. A couple inches each time, some of which would later melt to ice. Yesterday this area had more than two inches. No plow. The reason for paying a driveway and walkway service is when you travel for work frequently, that you can get back into the driveway, and it looks like someone is paying attention, while you are away.

- $500.00

Sorry you feel that way. You live on a 'bus route' or a street where 'sidewalk plows' go out days after a storm and leave 'windwrows ' at the end of your driveway. As stated in your contract, we are not responsible to go out days later to address individual sidewalk issues. Most clients simple 'clear this small amount away' between storms preventing the problem. Every driveway regardless of us or a competitor faces the same issue and problem with ice buildup.

'Shoddy'? ...I hardly think after 25 years in business here with a stellar reputation with thousands of happy clients that 'shoddy' is a word to use here.
