So last year was my first experience with a snow plough company and I got it primarily because I moved into a bigger house and did not want to clear 2 driveways early AM (and I don't own a snow blower). So my logic was, let's see how my neighbours operate first. In my neighbourhood (Skyline -near baseline/merivale), I noticed that most of the houses sign up for snow ploughing. So I figured let's go with snow ploughing then and hold off on buying the blower for now. So the next step was to figure out which company to proceed with. Neighbourhood indicated that people went with one of the companies - either Metro or another one I can't recall the name. So it was a toss-up between Metro and this company X. You guys had good reviews and the 5cm to clear vs. 6cm with competition helped make up my mind.
I was quite pleased with your overall service for 2017-2018, so much that I signed up as an early bird in 2018. My sincere hope is that Metro is able to maintain and evolve their service even more so in 2018. Your weekly newsletters/tidbits, updates during snowstorms are very much appreciated and I hope you keep up the trend. It is the lack of communication/not knowing that really negatively impacts customer experience - and that is not the case with Metro so far.
If I have to point out to an area for improvement, it would be perhaps providing GPS tracking for the particular plough that would be clearing my driveway.
