Green Moving And Storage

So happy with my move to Toronto. I got a promotion at work and was asked to move to Toronto. I didn't think I could afford it after getting numerous quoted. I get the best quote from green moving which was half of some others. The movers were so helpful and fast. Jarid & David did my pick up in Calgary. My stuff was delivered 2 weeks after all in the same condition. Excellent customer service from Marie. She made sure my mover went smooth. Couldn't be more happy.

I moved from Victoria island (British Columbia) to Toronto Ontario. My stuff showed up weeks after expected with some damages. They ignored me after it was delivered leaving me thinking I could make a claim

I know everyone only reviews when they have a bad experience. I would like to awkoledge the hard work the movers did. The pick up was so quick. John & Martin wrapped all my stuff professionally. The next morning I got a call with my actual weight and total price. I was glad to hear no extra charge my estimate was 2 - 3 thousand pounds I had 2389 pounds. My stuff came to Calgary from Brampton in 1 week. A day before me! I was booked July, 10, 2016 between 6 &8 pm the guys showed up a little late but they bought me a coffee and appoligized for the delay. Verry professional company. Thank you so much!

Horrible moving and shipping comany

I have horrible experience with green moving services. They pick up our furniture on early June from Alberta, Canada and they weren’t able to deliver our furniture 5 weeks after in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They have received a full $ amount but no delivery of furniture!

Moving nature is hard already and having green moving storage experience was a true nightmare and torched us so much. So frustrating by lake of chasing drivers, lake of a system wide storage service, lack of customer service, very aggressive staff including Mike, Alex, Ashley

I would never ever recommend green moving services to any one!
Stay away from them to save your money and time and not get through a nightmare experience with them!

Green Moving saved me from a night mare! I originally was booked with another company for the 26th of june for my move from Thunder Bay ON to British Columbia. They canceled my job the day of the move leaving me stranded! I called around and couldn't get anyone as it was the end of the month and school year every company was all booked up green moving arrived on the 28th. David (the driver) and Jared showed up and picked up my furniture. They were so efficent. They wrapped all my items and took care of all my possessions. I am now retired and hope I don't have to move again. If I do I will definetly choose green moving. Great work guys!!!

Very unpleasant, so rude staff , delay in pick up and delivery caused us lots of out of pocket expenses, irresponsible staff and management.
Missing items, I won't recommend them at all

I chose Green Moving after they were only one of a few companies that would move my small shipment of 450lbs from Toronto to Vancouver - other moving companies had a minimum of 1000lbs.

It proved to be the biggest mistake, and I should have just paid a reputable company more money to move my stuff. My goods were picked up quickly, but then they were not loaded onto a truck until 3 weeks after they originally told me they would be. Then the delivery did not show up within the quoted timeframe of "7-10 days". When it hadn't arrived, I phoned Green Moving's office to tell them that I would be out of town for a few days the following week, but despite this they phoned while I was travelling to tell me they were delivering the goods that day. As I had already told them, I wasn't in town, so I tried arranging for redelivery in a few days' time. They said it wouldn't be a problem and would call me once a new time was arranged. They didn't call, and what ensued was NINE WEEKS of calling and emailing them trying to get them to deliver my goods. Every single week I was told that "it will definitely be delivered this week". The "distribution manager" (who was the same person over a couple of weeks and then suddenly didn't exist), gave his word on several occasions that it was coming that week. It never came.

I tried filing a claim through their included insurance for undelivered goods - but the email address they provide for insurance claims on their moving contract doesn't exist.

I ended up having to file a lawsuit with the small claims court in an attempt to get the value of my goods back. Miraculously, all of a sudden, 16 weeks after they collected my goods, I received an email saying they would be delivering them that week.

So while I did eventually receive my goods (albeit in a very crushed state), it was after a great deal of time, effort and stress - not to mention the cost of replacing goods I had given up on seeing again.

I strongly encourage you to use any other moving company than these people - it is just not worth it!

Promised pick up Friday or Saturday. No show. Contacted them. Truck delayed. Sunday or even Monday now. Office closed on weekend and mailbox full so can't contact them. Called them Monday at 6 am. Truck between Red Deer and Calgary. No idea if we are the next stop or not "that's up to the driver". Called them at noon. Truck is full and headed back east. No room for our move. So we asked what now. Was told "maybe next week". We cancelled the move with them. Asked about getting our deposit back. Was told some time next week they would do it.
They really couldn't care less. Completely unprofessional in every aspect. Do not deal with these people. We now are scrambling to find alternate companies to move us and we are days behind now thanks to these uncaring goofs. Don't get sucked in by a low bid. We did and paid the price.

This company is not at all organised or they just know they are faking under their breath. Firstly, they picked up my stuff only after I left and did not have a weighing scale. The mover told my friend that they stuff would be weighed in Toronto The stuff reached here 2 weeks later . I spoke to a Maria who assured me that the storage of 6 weeks is taken as date of arrival in Toronto. My items were shipped out on Apr 29th.
On Jun 8th, I saw a charge on my credit card for $ 1004. I called and was transferred to the most unprofessional and incompetent manager named Ashley. I asked her for a breakdown and realised that I was charged for 2 months of storage although in my understanding the 6 weeks should be ending by the end of June.

I was charged for 880 lbs and i am sure that my stuff does not exceed 600 lbs. When i asked for a proof of weight, they said that they would be $ 300 charge for that.

Ashley then told me that she would look into my file and get back the next day. Sadly there was no reply. I called back on Tues, only to repeat my entire story to this incompetent and useless manager . Again, she reassured me that she would get back on the same day. Today I have received an email from her again and the invoice still contains a storage charge from May 5 even though the stuff was shipped out only on Apr 29th...They do not even have the correct records. Today , a service charge has been added

Initial quote : $ 600...paid in actual $ 1100.. I am now started to beleive that they may have weighed someone else items since my actual moving date and their record does not match...

shame on this company and i strongly suggest not to go with this company.

They did my moving ...deliver half of my stuff .
Theyake sure you pay in advance after that you can't do anything about it...please watch out go somewhere else.
They sound really reliable in the beginning after you pay them good luck ...
