Something less than adequate comes to mind. When asked by contractor when I was hoping to have this done, I stated in the next month. When he came back with the quote and I accepted that he said he'd start the day after tomorrow. (Rather sudden I thought) He told me what brand of paint he would use, but offered no samples; I was instructed to go to the store and let him know what colour. I couldn't find a colour I wanted but assumed it was just me- by this time they were prepping the walls for painting. I went and looked at other brands and found acceptable colours, so knew it wasn't just me being indecisive. By this time it was too late to change, so picked the least offensive shade to me, and continued on. After the second day, the failing health of the man he sent to do all the work was becoming apparent. By the third day I called the contractor who I hadn't seen for two days, because I actually felt like a slave driver and was worried for the worker. Suffice to say, my pristine corners and edges were somewhat less than hoped for. They even wanted to use my household vacuum to clean up the paint/plaster waste. Unimpressive.
