Largo Sheds

There are good contractors and bad contractors. Then there are serial predators. We hired Contractor Murray B**** to construct a 24 x24 garage with a loft--a 3-4 week project-- on September 21, 2017. As of today, the project remains incomplete. The purpose of this post is to warn others and to gather information. We are working with the CBO of Tay Valley. Over the course of the past 10 months, I have evidence of the following:

1) Crimes against the provincial building code (specifically, Building without a permit
2) Identity Fraud (specifically, use of a false name for the purposes of obtaining supplies without payment)
3) HST Evasion (Two different Tax ID numbers on separate contracts written in 2017--neither is associated with CRA). A third number provided in May of this year is valid.

Many of you have contracted for the construction of smaller sheds and therefore municipal authorities are not involved. As indicated by another reviewer, Murray also advertises and operates under the name of River Valley Construction. I'd like to take your stories to our MPP in an effort to stop this man from defrauding others. You may contact me for my email address at 613 200-2794.
